| I've rolled out a code change and hopeful 'fix' for the dreaded 65k messages bug. This effectively removes the count on your unread private messages, but still notifies you if there's at least 1 unread message. There were some master/slave database issues I could not see how to get around (and thus the count removal.) Let me know how it's working out. |
| well for one it gives you a question mark if you have friend or club in invites in que but it still shows the # in the drop down menu |

| The Fix Sent link isn't working as it should, I believe. Hitting the fix sent box link sets your outbox count to 0 at all times, instead of actually counting the number of messages. This means that if I have, let's say 10 messages, hit the link and then delete one, I get the 65k messages bug for my outbox. The inbox bug seems like it's gone but then again I never had a problem with it after we got rid of lag. |

| So instead of my eternal (1), I now have an eternal (?). Is there more work being done on this? Because the fixed box link never fixed this form of the bug. I get it from message spam of multiple author approval messages flooding my box (approving my own edits..) and it will stick around for months at a time. One day, it will decide to disappear, but I'll get it again within a week or two after I start doing mod work. It usually started as 65k then downgraded to the dreaded (1) after clicking the fix link. I even tried spacing out my approvals, but still managed to get it. |

| why not change the (?) into a (!)? the question mark kinda gives off a sense that something is broken instead of grabbing your attention... it's something psychological... just a suggestion, overall MAL has improved a lot.. Appreciate the hard work~! |

| I used to have that 65K thing but one day, it changed. For a while now, I've had the "?" I tried to use the fix but it only says "Not fixing, nothing wrong." Meh, it wasn't really bothering me so I'm fine with it. The only thing that's annoying now is that my Signature isn't updating well. But at least, if I edit my sig, it updates as well. Thanks for all the hard work ;) |
