| Well, it was quite interesting re-watching this episode while following the final arc going on in the manga. The Quincy were mentioned and the `200 years ago` was explained this early. It`s awesome going back and noticing these things from years and years ago. I`m definitely enjoying this re-watch even more than the first time, I`m going to continue all the way to the end, at a slow leisurely pace. Ichigo, Rukia and the rest of the gang in their early days... :), I love it. |

So Quincys aren't avengind their comrades that died, but are actually killing them, thus giving them no chance to go to heaven. I don't see any reason in choosing Quincys |

| I thought that this was a pretty good episode, there was some funny parts also some character development on Uryu and the Quincies. I give it 4/5 Post #16 |

| Woaah, Ichigo is a shounen MC who does well in brawls and academically Mini arc is starting off well again, now a Quincy made his appearance. Like it that in pretty much every episode a new element gets added to the world. |

| Looks like things are getting interesting we are now introduced to Ishida as well as the Quincys who are like Soul Reapers but the difference being that while Soul Reapers purify a Hollow's soul, the Quincys ultimately want to destroy Hollows altogether. It looks like we are going to get a fight between Ichigo and Ishida next episode. Also.Rukia's fake crying was hilarious. |
