| *_* i like this. i really really really like this anime. i seriously didn't think i'd ever get used to the 'kinda chibi-like animation style' [ i don't know how else to describe it but it's kinda childish compared to the cowboy bebop/samurai champloo/darker than black animation] but i'm gettin into this anime. and if it's bleach + some romance as i read in a recommendation, i'm gonna fall in love with this show!!! |

| A-ha! I knew that Yuuji would have some powers connected wtih "eternal flame" or something. Whew. Anyway, this was a great episode. The moment when Shana owned the teachers made me burst into serious, uncontrolled laughter, so did this giant, sharp-tongued tome ^^ |

| Dum de dum... Enjoying this series, but hoping it picks up. Feels almost like there's an unnecessary amount of build up before the ultimate revealing of what is actually in Yuuji... Hopefully things will pick up soon, since I can tell this would be really awesome if it did! Shana hassling the teachers was kind of funny. :') But I didn't see anything wrong with the chemistry prof's chemical formula... (Unless the "CH" at the end was "CH2"... Then it'd be wrong... Otherwise CH3C [triple bonded to] CCH2CH3 is correct for 2-pentyne.[/organic-chemistry-student-rant] I still don't really like the animation style here because of the huge eyes... but getting used to it anyway. (I don't think it's bad, it just makes them all look kind of childish. How old are they supposed to be again?) |

| I really love Kugimiya as a seiyu, her voice addapt so well with comedy and romance. But I don't know why, I feel like she's not the good one for Shana. Also, I have difficulty to like Shana, her indifference to human annoy me to the highest point. The way she just deal with situation just seem stupid. It look like she doesn't care about torch and human, but protect Yuuji, why doesn't she just kill him and take his treasure? I would understand if she had feeling for him, but they just met and he seem to annoy him more than anything. Also, I usually don't have problem with tsundere, but tsundere that play with people life just disgust me. I guess it's now pretty easy to guess what Yuuji treasure do. It probably restore the flame of his owner. The scene with the teachers was hilarious xD Especially the one that jump off the window :P |

And it was Shana who used fuzuke in the school intentionally to lure Friagne there. They are actually changing little things here and there but I guess it's for better, anime is wholly different medium and so far they are pacing the series well. And seeing how Shana owns teachers was just priceless scene! :D I almost wanted to see her duel with their gym teacher too. |
| -Turns out Yuuji's not just an idiot, he's a special kind of idiot -Alright, Shana being a stand-in for Hirai got a chuckle out of me because I subconsciously made that connection when I saw the first episode -I like Shana's general nonchalance about everything -Hoo boy Shana blasted that dude into oblivion, and she makes what's usually a Yuuji fest infinitely more watchable -Oh dear she made one dude jump out the window -Yuuji looking out a window and contemplating the obvious again -I didn't realize how much I missed the Crimson World until it returned in this episode. It's a really refreshing break from Yuuji being a general moron -The fight with the deck of cards was pretty underwhelming, and I have no idea what the deck of cards even did in the first place -I did not expect that Ike dude to die this early -Apparently Flame Hazes go out in a blaze of glory, according to the Friagne dude -The first thing that I did upon hearing that Shana needed Ike's dying existence was "Oh god, Yuuji's gonna say a bunch of stupid stuff," and, lo and behold... -Although, the self-sacrifice thing wasn't that stupid to be honest -Whoa, they actually went through with using Yuuji's life force, which I did not expect at all. -Yeah, now that Yuuji actually did the thing, his obsession with leaving something behind is a lot less like empty speech and more respectable -That talking book the blonde chick has reminded me a lot of Gatchaman Crowd's Berg-Katze At the end, Yuuji became a lot more palatable, but this Shana is carrying the show pretty hard. Episode itself was actually pretty decent, too, since it fleshes out the premise a bit more. |

| Shana bullying the teacher was funny. And Yuujis flame grew larger at the end, probably due to the fact that he isn't loosing heart like the other torches. |

| He shouldn't worry too much about being forgotten. Normal people are bound to be forgotten anyways. In about 100 years, unless you've done something remarkable, it's as if you've never existed at all. Shana being so irritated at him, her armor is starting to get chipped. hehe His torch got restored? I guess that treasure within him makes him a special kind of torch. |
