| As much as it’s nice to get some Fuji and Doggy sweet moments, we also needed some Fuji-and-friends scenes, so I’m glad we got them here for the season finale. Bowling and then going straight to getting wasted… seriously, that’s the life xD That whole scene of her and Doggy in the rain was exactly what we needed for a finale. It’s them and rain, after all :) Really weird to hear the ED 12 minutes in though lmaoooo. Makes sense though, episode 0 of Fuji’s past was a really cool way to wrap things up. The whole conversation with her and her grandma was super sweet. I love what they did with her in this finale, especially using the rain as a metaphor. Fantastic finale all around; couldn’t have asked for better. Gonna miss this show dearly, it’s really a hidden gem. Love how we ended right where we started in the end <3 |

| ED coming mid-way into the episode surprised me, lol. I thought it was done and it was a good note to end it off at as well but felt way too short, so I held my breath and hoped it wasn’t over when I reached out for the touchpad. Timely episode 0, don’t see that often in this medium and it pleasantly surprised me for sure. It’s raining outside and hearing the raindrops while playing this episode felt more immersive. I wish it rained more often at this time xD. The two of them have already been around, huh? It’s been a while since we’ve seen such detailed rain and the ost somehow seems familiar to KoiAme which is one of my favs! Going to miss this, for sure… |

| Peak fluff is over 😢 such a simple and relaxing story. This is the sort of slice of life we need more as especially as we get older and have to deal with so much bs. Obviously Fuji and our furry friend are great, but I feel like this show was more of an experience rather than something that can be critically analyzed. It’s just soothing and relaxation personified. Great finale that sums up why I love this show and why it’s so relatable. Fuji’s limited social battery on full display. Had fun hanging with the girls and then wanted to be on her own with her dog lol. I love going places and hanging for a bit, then I’m ready to go home and not talk to anyone. The coolest thing about this show is how understanding Fuji’s friends and family are about this and don’t pressure her or make her feel bad. I did feel kinda bad she dipped on her parents when they were cooking food for her, but then I realized it was a flashback that explained how a series of coincidences led to her meeting the tanuki! It’s funny how so many little things and decisions we make on a daily basis can put us right in the perfect situation, at the right time. All because she didn’t check the rain forecast and gave that umbrella away lol, but she gained something incredibly valuable, a friend. Aura farming in the rain is so funny, that puddle jumping scene was gorgeous though. Generally seems like they wanted to flex their muscles in this final episode! Fuji has to be one of the most utterly stunning characters in recent times too. Her fashion sense, her face card, she’s the it girl and from the illustrations I see on Twitter, the mangaka has a lot of fun styling her lol. I’ll miss her so much |

| This was a pretty cozy series in a sorta My Roommate is a Cat/The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today kinda way. I liked the relationship between the little fella and Fuji and the little fella’s relationship with everyone else in her life. I could definitely watch another season of this. It’s like a warm cup of tea on a cold rainy day y’know? Just kinda leaves you feeling cozy. |
| And so we end with bowling, a prequel and ruminations on why we love the rain. It's funny, this show certainly tried to be deep, but at the same time it was so simple and relaxing that it was my ultimate "turn your brain off" show for the season, but in a good way. Just sit back and enjoy the cuteness and wholesomeness, ya know? Tanuki-bro was awesome, though I'll never be able to bring myself to call him a dog lol. Solid 8/10. |
| This episode was beautiful. I found it interesting how we just got half an episode for the final episode and we got episode Zero on the second half. However it makes sense because a few things in the First half we're kind of touched on in the second half. Like how Fuji jumped over the puddle in the first half and we saw the blond haired girl jump the puddle in the second half. We also see in the second half Fuji's bag filled with work supplies. But now it most of the time is filled by "You". Seems like they teased a new character as well (looked like a manga author) but that will probably be for us to read the manga. And in the End credits she finally wakes up! 10/10 anime. |

| I loved going full circle to see what led up to the first episode! this whole anime was so damn cute and I kinda hope we'll get a season 2 (and maybe see more of the tanuki's backstory or things from its perspective)! |

| Pretty good besides some dislikable quirks of her personality. The VA for the 'dog' put in the work; it sounded very correct, I guess? Animal-ish? Nothing spectacular, another writer takes in a pet deal, but pretty chill. Kii is a highlight for being a fun kid. PS I wanted more twin brother, I literally can't believe they cucked me out of him |

| What an interesting way to close out the season. I thought the animation for the bowling scenes was very well done. Looked like the director let the animators out to play for a little while. I'd take Fu-chan home in a minute. Even if she was drenched. |
| Cutting the long black hair of girls sometimes symbolises the transition to adulthood, just like in a sense had the same significance of showing her leaving her parent's house, giving away her old high-school umbrella and then "purifying" herself in the pouring rain. I love who poetic the second half of the last episode turned out, it is unfortunate that the anime didn't have the courage to keep it up all along. |

This anime right here, started it just because I had nothing to watch, but this peaceful anime literally cured my depression, Im a bit sad that its over now, but Im glad that I watched this and waited for it every week. |
| What a comfy show, Fuji and You's dynamic was soothing, both VA deserve alot of credit for the atmosphere they created. Tbf all VA choices were spot on here. You is my favourite dog this season, possibly this year. But Fuji, Ren & the dad character also stands. Adding You to my dog related quotes:

You who have read the manga, and knowing that it is still ongoing, we agree that there could be a season 2 one day ?
