A date episode?! A long last? Yeah, it's not Chisa but Iori still got to go out with Aina. Because this is Grand Blue, there's a mixture of cute and humorous/meme-like moments.

Kouhei and Iori still has one of the best male chemistry/bond imo. This episode is such a tease.

Well, Iori didn't screw up the movie date. Color me surprised! LOL. But really, Aina acting like she was in Middle School with her friends had me laughing. And the accidental confession. Which everyone there heard, BTW. LOL

"Ah, I get it now."
Doubtful.

"With a six year old bro."
Should work with most highschool boys and colledge guys as well.

I am not enthusiastic about the tunic/jacket like top over shorts outfit, Aina. With you figure the way to go was a breezy sundress, no bra. First hand experience here, that really turns up the huggable interest.

I mean, this would work on adults as well. The problem is that Aina ain't equipped for this

Iori is a kind of guy that deserve a harem ending and he doesn't even realized that. He's just so compatible with so many like Chisa, Iori, Busujima, Otoya...

Being in your 20s and thinking you're running out of time has to be one of the worst feelings. Thankfully, Cakey wasn't facing a quarter-life crisis like I initially thought. Her problem if you can even call it that was very mundane lol.

Aina's date with Iori was great. Iori didn't even think of it as anything romantic. To him it was just a friend date lol. But it also showed how great a boyfriend he could be if he lived in a normal environment. Living in his uncle's house has to be a blessing and a curse.

It's always very wholesome to see Kohei and Iori teaming up to help someone. I like how much they care about Aina/Cakey. Chisa too. Also the first time Kohei's house was shown. And it's about what I expected. How the hell does he afford all that crap?

The next episode seems crazy based on the preview. Sad there are only 2 episodes left. But I can rest easy knowing a 3rd season will probably be released as soon as next summer.

He might've been tragically oblivious to what's behind it but the way Iori made his date with Aina as fun as it was without really even trying is genuinely one of his coolest moments.

Everything about that wetsuit had me dying.

So Aina can finally go with Iori on that date. Eventhough Iori never realized Aina's true feelings (when the whole restaurant understood her), at least Aina made some progress and was able to spend some time with the one person she likes.

And it seems Aina is going to be out for the next episodes (probably for the rest of the season, considering we only have 2 more episodes), which is honestly a shame, but hey, at least she will be back. It was really cute to see Chisa, Iori and Kouhei doing the most they could to raise money for her, just goes to show how close these 4 are now. Kouhei was even close to selling his Kidney.

And of course, this episode was really funny, usual for Grand Blue. Overall, I'm finding this season actually better than the last one, but it might be because this season has less of that comedy where they just get drunk or that "group of friends" that Kouhei and Iori have.

It seems next episode we are getting the volleyball match between Iori and the blue haired guy that is shown in the ending.

Anyways, I'm really happy to see some development to Aina, and not letting her in that spot of just thinking about Iori but not actually trying to get close to him. I wonder if the anime is going to continue to develop the characters like this.

Edit: Forgot to mention, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed that Iori was completely oblivious to Aina's feelings, even when she just confessed to him. Although he is portrayed as this "dumb" character, we have been shown that he is actually quite insightful and catches on people's true intentions (like with his sister earlier in the season, or with Busujima), but I guess it would be more convinient for the plot if he was oblivious to this romantic side of things (well, maybe he just doesn't believe someone would actually fall for him).

Aina's finally going ahead huh. The reaction of the patrons sure was amusing. As was Aina's misreading of the situation. Still in the end im glad that Aina's crisis wasn't as bad as expected.

Loved the episode! Finally, Aina gathered enough courage to ask Iori out on a date! In the previous episode, I mistakenly thought Iori was chatting with Naomi and had finally realized he was gay, I was really looking forward to his reaction to that realization, but I was wrong.

Speaking of mistakes, I’m glad there weren’t any during Iori and Aina’s date! They watched Outbox together and enjoyed it so much that they kept talking about it afterward, followed by a meal at a fancy restaurant, which turned out to be a hilarious scene, haha.

Especially the moment when one of the background characters yelled “DIE” at Iori after overhearing Aina’s confession, even though Iori himself hadn’t heard it yet, haha. That cracked me up so much. All in all, I loved the episode, and I’m super proud of Aina! Keep it up, girl!

Good ep

Nice to see Aira be more confident in going on that date.

Not her friends forgetting that Aira doesn’t have the assets to swoon Iori🤣

They really vibin but sadly Iori is quite dense even with context clues.

Azusa really a troll and Kohei funny asl.

9.5/10

Best girl Aina focused episode finally after so long. And now she's leaving to farm😑
Happy and disappointed.

Aina friends are nagging but really nice and always help her just not this episode. But what does Kikyo do with her Lil brother😭😭

The name of those movie
- Framing saga conclusion: Lalako tan
Wut
- Dive blue
Such a creative ingenuity

Iori is dumb idiot but he did gave Aina a good date to enjoy. First time I heard this words for confession. But man this guy dense.
I mean I really would love if Iori x Aina wins out but blue hair so futile (atleast be Chisa).
But they were trying hard for her sake in order to make her stay. They are degen but the really care for eachother.

"I need someone to call cops if we find something illegal"🤣🤣🤣
Koehi room part amazing as expected. Her probably did hid his loli porn stash in the open. Cute imouto filled room isn't bad way to live tho. But did he really is in delusion that noone knows about his crimes😭😭. That Chisa face😭😭
Poor guy got tricked bad for old man's wetsuit.

PEAK BLUE after very meh last episode. Writing Aina out to make room for pink bitch tho. Yeah horrible writing....

Aina and Iori had a great time together. I'm proud that Aina had the courage to ask him out for a movie date and it worked out perfectly considering the other movies available that would've been manic if Chisa and Kohei tagged along. XD

Azusa then dropped a hint about Aina going back home, which led to Iori and Kohei's plans of making money to help Aina out, which led to the usual hilarious moments that Grand blue is infamous for. Iori lying to Kohei about the wetsuit before revealing to him that it was his uncle's wetsuit had me laughing out really loud, especially with how Kohei reacted in despair to that revelation.

In the end, Aina is only going back home to help with her family's farmwork and in return, they will continue to pay her college tuition fee. Hopefully she won't be gone for long, although looking at the next episode's preview, it looks like she'll be missing out on something chaotic and fun.

Aina looks really beautiful in this episode.

If Iori weren’t so crazy, he could’ve built himself a harem.

Kohei is really dangerous, he’s about to sell his kidney.

Lol best misunderstanding with Cakey xD First part with her date with Iori at the cinema + restaurant was actually cute even though OBVIOUSLY he didn't hear her confession, but 2nd part was hilarious where they thought she needed money otherwise she couldn't live there anymore and go to the school, Kouhei was ready to sell a kidney xD but well in the end she's just leaving for summer obviously

This season is the most fun when Chisa joins the delusions, unfortunately that did not happen too often so far.

My favorite moment will always be when the author humanize/normalize Iori lol. Bro is legit a decent person behind the shenanigans. He is either misunderstood or just in some stupid situations involving his friends. It is very refreshing to watch half the episode of him being a normal guy hanging out with Aina.

I forgot Aina isn't with the rest of the cast for some time. Maybe this is the last time we see her together with the gang or she comes back on the last episode.

This is literally my most favorite gag in the whole series. Never fails to make me laugh!

@Apu-Hasan In his defense Aina was speaking in fukuoka dialect so he might've missed that. Though it's hard to imagine that would happen if literally the rest of the restaurant hears it, just as you said.

@Supersuvo i was waiting for years the S2 and when I decided to read it they announced the S2 so now i have to rush every week to stay ahead because they sometimes change some few things.

For this episode, there is 28 ok, 7 dislike it, 3 hate it

so why they are still watching??? I don't get it

we don't have the same taste of humour but it's by far a 10

it's fighting with Gintama for my GOAT in comedy...
