| I read the manga version of this before and didn't expect much at first until they showed the amount of humor in this. The main girls are the eyecatchers here. Main guy is pretty boring but a kind person. There's some suggestive shots and camera angles but most part is played out for fun. PA Works definitely animated this with a colorful amount of chereography and for the character designs. Out of the main girls, I like Kazuki the most cause she is more tomboyish. This should be fun if they manage to adapt into most of the manga's humor. |

| Mangaka Aya Hirakawa's series adds one more to the rom-com fight this season, and from what I've heard, the manga has a good reputation going for it that's different from your typical rom-com. The son of the late legendary actress Subaru Ayase, Yu has got quite the reputation going for him as he enters the pregstious Saika Academy, being the total mediocre failure that everyone did not expect coming, whatever he does. However, it's the Three Royal Mikadono sisters of the youngest Miwa, middle child Niko, and eldest Kazuki, who are each respective prodigies in shogi, martial arts, and performing arts, that present quite the trouble for the average man taking the school's test to enter the general education program. For Yu though, the only son in the family that is only him and his mother until her fateful passing, with her only wish for him to have a happy family. That happy family, however, is reaching the Mikadonos' house and finding himself a job from their father, as a way to repay for his mother being his business benefactor. That perception, however, Yu feels even more pressure under the wing of the 3 demanding daughters, being welcome to a literate pigsty of a house that ha garbage all over the house. As flamboyant as the sisters seem nonetheless, Yu just doing things like he used to do, like cleaning the house even in mid-conversation, Yu still definitely has the looks of his mother and his own smugness to match. Deep down, Yu is seeing the phantoms of his own family, with the prodigal sisters adding quite the pain in the butt, but if there's one thing going for him, it's his determination to have that happy family feeling altogether...that the sisters start having feelings for him. Most certainty, this first morning will be just like his old family, as Mr. Mikadono bears the fate of his daughters into Yu's hands...as a helper? A really good start as it feels like the intelligent version of Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi a.k.a Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister: 3 sisters, prodigies at that, with the average man binding them together. Looking forward to more! |

| From the moment I saw the main guy was a femboy shouta, I knew exactly what kind of story this was going to be. That feeling only got stronger when they introduced not one, not two, but three tomboys into the mix. Pretty clear where this was headed from there. Though I wasn’t expecting the whole “they all live together” twist... so I guess it’s basically Amagami Sister, just without the whole shrine and fantasy thing to make it unique eh lol. Honestly thought this was a shoujo at first, but it definitely isn't. That at the end though, where the dad casually gives the okay for the MC to build a harem out of his daughters sealed it, this is shounen through and through. The setup is also your standard shounen fare: a guy who’s average at everything except for one oddly specific skill, in this case, cleaning, and he makes sure to rub it in the girls’ faces while teasing them. That twist makes him way more likeable than your usual self-insert lead and gives him a unique charm that helps him stand out from the usual archetype, so yeah. But the girls though, yeah, pretty generic lol. Blushing over a simple send-off and getting all flustered over the smallest things. It’s THAT type of harem. The only thing I found pretty dumb here was the whole thing with the son and his mom, like the mom longed to be a family, but she waits until she’s literally dying to finally say something? And not even directly, just leaves a message at the end of a script telling him to go try and make one. It’s like she thought that they only have each other and that deep down they both want a close relationship... but nah, screw that, she's a drama queen and this has to be a tragedy. Other than that though, amusing start, I guess. |

| So, Saika School is a place for talented students. Yuu is often compared to her talented mother. I believe not everyone inherits talent from their parents, so it’s no wonder Yuu struggles. Boxing match? I don't know that type of martial art. At the top of each department, there is a genius known as the "San-Tei." I don't understand why talent is so highly regarded; clearly, Yuu cleans the dojo perfectly. There is a deep gap between this Subaru and Yii. I didn't expect Yuu to live with the "San-Tei" Mikadono sisters; Yuu is quite luckysukebe. Nico-san is really straightforward, but I like tsundere types, so it's not bad either. I don't understand their morning routine but what juice is Kazuki drinking? Remembering past events, Yuu is worried about the "San-Tei" because geniuses sometimes forget simple things. I like how Yuu teases Nico-san with food. But Nico-san is so concerned about nutrition and calories every time. The three of them are really troublesome. I see, so it's not just a nonchalant father; he's anticipating that his genius daughters will soon face obstacles and has sent the protagonist in as a support role... What kind of genius is this father, I wonder? |

| Finally here. Episode looked really good in general but they went for the cinematic look for the Ayase Subaru segment which looked even better. Love the sisters. Prolly the most wholesome/fluffy harem story. The sisters are all amusing. |

| Interesting start so far. I'm actually really enjoying this already. The dude is really kind but really does not do well in school, sounds like me tbh. Cleaning the whole ass dojo on his own must've took a while but even when he didn't want to do it, he still did it anyways. The three sisters though, they really don't know how to keep the house clean at all. I personally like Nico the most since shes a tsundere and I like tsunderes but the other two sisters are great as well. This anime is really colourful which I honestly really like, we love P.A Works. Also, the house looks the the Quintuplets household, the frick. Plus its a harem, coincidence? 5/5 |

| The prestigous school and the uniforms made me think of Classroom of the Elite for a second xD Good thing this won't be anything like that at all. Here we go again with more P.A. Works. It's just such a good studio that I have to watch as many of their series as I can. Should be a fun watch. Already digging everyone's personalities. Especially the part about morning routine, nutrition and supplementation being on point struck a chord. And before more people get confused, this ain't a yuri,gl or anything. Yuu is a guy. |

| No op and only titles and music for the ED on the first episode, guess we will get more for that next week. The boy's characters design is cuter than any of the tree girls' designs. | I remember reading a few chapters when it first came out. Enjoyed what little of it I did but didn't keep up with it. With it still on-going, it's probably safe to say the romance side of the series probably won't be going anywhere soon but I do always enjoy myself some fun romcoms in anime form. The show itself was quite fun and PA Works did well to keep the visuals and character designs. I always thought the character designs had a more standard shoujo manga style but it's actually a shounen, which I thought was kind of interesting. |
| The sisters reacting like Yuu from the future's narration about how they all becamw family was spoken out loud got a good chuckle out of me. Can't get enough of how unintentionally(?) smug our guy looks whenever he channels his mom's "actress aura", especially since it actually gets whoever's currently looking down on him to flinch. |

| I'm not really a fan of Koga Aoi voicing tsundere. But hey, at least her feet are cute. Overall, this anime reminds me of Goddess Dormitory, where shota MC was also living with bunch of girls and effectively served as caretaker. |

| Just gonna start by saying holy hell they made Subaru look absolutely stunning, she fits her role perfectly she's so dam gorgeous. Im generally not a major fan of harem anime since most of them are just boring black haired male mc's and a bunch of girls with huge melons. But like you get the exception here and there. I think so far at least whats really touching about this is Yuu and Subaru's story, its just a simplistic story of Mother and son but gets done very well. I think its really sweet they managed to more or less reconcile at the end of Subaru's life and the idea of the story essentially being Yuu carrying on her wish is really a nice plot. As for Yuu and the three sisters as actual characters only time can really tell. So far at least I really like Yuu, he's got a bit of a backbone on him unlike most harem protagonists and can kinda put his foot down when he wants to. As for the girls Nico is my favourite so far, but I mean we havent really gotten much of any of them. I just think Nico is super pretty that's all really, also she's funny to watch with Yuu. Great start overall also the art style is very pretty |

| This might be the first harem that I've seen where no girl is likeable at the beginning, having bad personalities and not really cute at all. Boy is also your typical wimp but nice MC. Not sure if I want to continue this... |
| Ep1 thoughts: - Face art is just xxx, it's so unattractive that it is actually scary the more I look, no face of a girl but more like some Korean bishonen lol I mean fine at least they got the bodyshape of a girl part right, wow - Drama heavy but solid packed with emotional elements and good transitions, first 12min already felt like a full ep already - Gap moe 999% pretty nice turnout to make up for the weird art quality of the girls... damn, make that gap moe 99999% I think this is going to make the best out of this anime, it's going to be a huge hit, so good. At the end of the 20min mark it felt like watching 3-4 eps worth of good stuff 8/10 solid for now. If they push the romance further this can be a good 9/10 or 10/10 for me |

| The pressure of growing up in the shadow of a prodigy, becoming kind of estranged with his mom, being judged as 'mediocre' by everyone who compares him to said mom, our mc has a lot on his plate for sure. It is a very interesting premice for this story, I also love how our mc has a seemingly snarky side and a 'flirty' one (although this one might be more accidental than anything) and does 'reverse uno' a little bit the sisters several times. There are many amusing moments in this first episode, the sisters each have their unique personalities and our mc must 'help' them while overcoming his own self-doubts (it is clear that he has qualities that the sisters do not, hopefully it will help him grow in confidence), looking forward to see more :) |
| Move away Amagami san, the best modern harem is here! My most anticipated anime of the season is finally here and I'm sooo happy with how the first episode is handled. I like Koga Aoi as Niko more than I thought, and the rest are great too. I know the bar of entry for good harem isn't high, but this one is definitely way better than the rest. I'd say about "QQ" better than its peers when it was airing/serialized. Definitely gonna keep watching.  |

This show feels like a somewhat rehash of Quintessential Quintuplets formula - except with a few changes... e.g. 3 sisters instead of 5, the MC leans more towards the beta-male character type, and all 3 girls, in the beginning at least, have obnoxious personalities - in Quintuplets that was primarily Nino the tsundere girl if I recall.
The artwork is good, but I'mma take a pass on this show.

| I read about a dozen chapters of the manga a long time ago and I absolutely loved it. I put it on hold to read later, but when the anime got announced I decided to hold off. And this 1st episodes is absolutely great ! The production value is just as I imagined it to be, and the directing and the flow is just as good ! The harem genre has been on the decline for a long time and has been dying, so seeing quality series like this, Amagami Sisters, and Megami Cafe getting high quality adaptions makes me really happy |

| It's second anime in 2 seasons a orphan boy after her mother's death is moving in with a family of three sisters,lol. I thought Yuu will be short but Niko is ever shorter. Anyway tsundere + Aoi Koga ik who my favourite girl will be.. |
