| As expected, Mr. Mikadono has high expectations on his family. This episode was quite moody for the first half. Kazuki should be the one to pay attention for now. It's obvious she had Yuu on her mind since she still didn't forget about her kiss. I think maybe the next episode or two will develop a more interesting relationship between the two. |

| KAZUKI NATION RISE THE FUCK UP WE ARE HERE!!! Best episode so far by a mile and I’m so looking forward to seeing this Kazuki mini arc play out. PLUS we meet the man, the myth, the sisters’ dad himself. I feel like there’s a lot more to him than we saw today though. Lot to unpack. I’m thinking there’s some sort of long game being played here by the dad. I don’t see why he’d get mad at Yu for helping the girls when he quite literally instructed him to do just that a few episodes ago. Clearly he wanted the girls to become a proper family and Yu is doing that. He also had to have known that Yu wasn’t a particular impressive boy from the start when he took him in? Surely he didn’t just adopt him because he was Subaru’s son lol. If so, that’s your own fault and shows you are a subpar foster parent. I think he’s testing both Yu and the girls here to see how they respond. That’s me being optimistic tho, maybe he is genuinely a pos. The fact the girls actually stood up to their dad and defended Yu(actually called his name for the first time) just shows the massive impact he’s had on them in such a short period of time and how much he means to them! They’re gradually understanding how being average is not bad at all. You don’t need to be perfect at everything and that’s such a horrible mentality their father has instilled in them! The way girls all basically realized they need Yu at this point, not even just romantically, but basically being the mom of the house sending them off with a smile, making their lunches etc lol. So cute. Kazuki focus in the second half is what I live for omg this was amazing. I’m ok with Kazuki wanting to understand femininity and get in touch with her “feminine” side, but I just pray they don’t take the edge away from her and make her a stereotypical maiden in love. One of my biggest pet peeves is when tomboys/“masculine” girls become all shy and cutesy after they fall in love. Keep her being her please 🙏🏾 the author being a woman kinda gives me some confidence that she’ll be aware of this and not go down that path. Fingers crossed. The kiss was so freaking cute and the way Kazuki kept being reminded of it at every turn had me cracking up. I think falling in love will be great for her acting career! So excited to see how this date goes next week. If Kazuki pinned me against the wall and stared at me like that, I’m folding |

| The sisters start to get along but... their father enters the scene, and oh boy what a jerk this guy is. He doesn't seem to care one bit about his daughters happiness or what they want, he makes them feel uncomfortable and get very disrespectful with Yuu. Still, it was very nice to see the sisters rallying in support of Yuu. That was rough but Yuu do not get discouraged for very long and soon he starts spoiling the sisters again with gorgeous meals and his kindness. I did not expect the accidental Kazuki/Yuu kiss, and a date next time? things are getting very interesting there, I wonder what Niko and Miwa would think. Can't wait for next week! |

| I had the Mikadono sisters father pinned completely wrong, Based on his few interactions with Yuu plus the passing of Subaru I'd assumed he was a nice guy who brought yuu in to support them in a more family way. But no seems he's just stuck up in them boosting their own careers which just sucks. | It's pretty clear to me that the 'date' is to be an acting training thing, so Kazuki can learn something about being a Female MC in the play. I do not know that Yu really has anything to teach, however. Probably wind up with both of them being confused as all hell. |

| I was not expecting the dad or an accidental kiss in this episode. Once again I'm completely glued to the show when I'm watching it. The drama, the feelings, and the overall wholesome vibes of this show are unmatched. All the girls miss Yu not just because of his food or the chores, but because of his kindness. When they're coming home they feel safe and happy something they haven't felt in a long time. Yu doesn't realize it but he really is making that ideal tv family come true. Buckle up everyone were getting a date next episode. |

| The father is certainly on something. Seeing his daughters more like assets that he wants to mold to be as elite as possible. Definitely rough for sure based on their demeanor when they were giving him their report. It might have to do with the mother being out of the picture. If she’s no longer with them, the helplessness he felt he probably didn’t want his daughters to have that. Thus, making them nothing but assets that need to reach their fullest potential. That kiss at the end was unexpected. I’m surprised and happy it was Kazuki. It should be interesting her to see how she’ll try to get a hold of her femininity. This was the best episode so far. |

| Admittedly, I was a bit naive in thinking that the Mikadono father would be pretty understanding, but his true colours were shown when he came back home to see how well his daughters are doing in their respective performances. The one and only thing he cares about is success and anything else are deemed irrelevant and unneeded. It also does feel weird that he voiced his stance towards the girls and also towards Yu considering that he did take him in to help the sisters to become a closer family, so it does feel a little contradictory that he was very disapproving of Yu's efforts with the sisters at the festival in the last episode. Thankfully, the girls did stand up for Yu, so while things have almost gone back to the way it was at the beginning of the series, the girls can't stop thinking of how much Yu has effected them already. One moment here that I really liked was Miwa and how she reminisced on when Yu gave her a kitty-themed dessert, where her beaming happy face made me love her even more than before! =3 However, the major moment of this episode was the accidental kiss between Yu and Kazuki thanks to their clumsiness while cleaning up the dishes in the kitchen. Regardless of what she said to Yu that it didn't bother her, the truth was that she was severely bothered by it in amusing fashion. To add to that, she now proposes on going on a date with Yu. I highly doubt that this date will go smoothly, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of funny moments because of it. Either way, I look forward to seeing how well, or badly, this date goes. |

And an accidental kiss!? this early!? Kazuki can't function properly with that in mind, she needs that date to clear her head haha.
