Well, Sandra does need some good, older role models. Kinda cute that we got to see how school life like for her and the younger kids in this season.

Yufufu though...I know she's a nice person but her "mom" side is showing. Lol poor Azusa. I think she got a bit more unwanted attention that she was expecting.

Falfa and Shalsha are surprisingly smart, and it's impressive—but it was hilarious how they graduated on the same day they attended their first day of school.

Mommy Yufufu is back—I wouldn’t mind playing her child as long as she wants. I wanna rest my face in her bosom and get spoiled by her!!!

Azusa is once again back in her adorable child form—she looks even cuter than Falfa and Shalsha. Sandra and Azusa playing sisters, and when they dressed in those clothes, the adorable level exploded off the charts.

Lol Azusa in little girl mode, it would have been fun to see her attending school as a child with Sandra and the slime twins rather than being kidnapped

Pretty amusing and adorable episode this week, between the girls going to school and Azusa's shrinking.
Plenty of heartwarming little moments :)

For a day, Yufufu was able to experience being a mom, and Azusa (and Sandra) was able to experience being a sister and having a mom. It was a win-win situation. I love this episode a lot!

“I felt blessed today” aww, always nice starting my weekend off with my girls, but today was one of my fave episodes. Like I said when she got introduced, Yufuu is the mother figure Azusa has always craved. Azusa has had to be an older sister figure to the girls so often, but she needs support herself sometimes! So nice to see her get babied for once

Probably will be a good idea to check before eating any of Yufuu’s meals again so she doesn’t shrink into a little kid again 😂 but I think Azusa honestly enjoyed being a little kid and having no responsibilities for once. She and Sandra playing house and just being two little girls raised by a mom who spoils them was sooo cute. Moments like this always warm my heart because we know the sort of life Azusa had before being isekai’d. She deserves this.

Kidnapping one of the most powerful witches ever.. great job bandits. Reminded me of the “call an ambulance… for you, not me” meme lol. Sandra and Azusa with the sister duo takedown was a sight to see

Very sweet episode as per. These always go by so quick

One of the weakest episodes of the series, i kind of liked how season 1 was moving quickly but still had lots of good comedic moments.

This episode was just a bunch of nothing mommy cutesy stuff

Well I guess adding Sandra wasn't enough, now Azusa has to be a little girl too. Weird all these women who want to be moms but just skip the whole hooking up with a man and being pregnant part. Yufufu seems like a redundant Azusa if all she cares about are little girls, I thought her and Azusa who have a more normal relationship.

Adorable episode, as always. Loved Azusa's daughters standing out in outrageous ways compared to the other fellow classmates, yet they somehow do not suspect a thing, and are all like "wow! they're geniuses!", haha. Was really funny and adorable at the same time.

Azusa's daughters aside, loved Yofufu's family hangout. It was all such fluffy vibes, until those kidnappers messed with the wrong gals, serves them right! The kidnappers aside, the hangout of the 3 of them, playing, shopping, bathing, and sleeping, was a cute hangout.

Oh, Azusa, what do you mean, "Falfa and Shalsha were such good kids, I never had that!"? How quickly you forget that one of them quite literally tried to kill you when you first met... :P

That was the fastest school graduation I’ve ever seen:)

At least Azusa and Sandra can be Yufufu’s daughters whenever they want. I didn’t know that Azusa is so strong, she defeated those thieves in an instant.

like its been how many eps this is the 16 ep

As the episode explains, the reason it took so long for Falfa and Shalsha to go to school is because they are already intelligent enough understand the stuff that is taught there, with the only reason for them to attend a class is to see what it's like (and how other kids are educated) as means of teaching regular education skills to Sandra.

Oh yeah, the scenes involving any part of the main cast that isn't Azusa, Sandra or the slime twins is something added to the anime just to give them a scene in an episode where their involvement is basically nil.

I was just waiting for Azusa to say “Falfa is better at math than I am!” or something.

Hm, I wonder if this could be an example of the author’s poorly disguised fetish lol, I’m referring to Azusa shrinking and being babied by Yufufu. It’s certainly adorable, and Azusa and Sandra’s roleplay was hilarious, but yeah that was just something I could see being the case, still a great bit tho, I’ll admit that I’ve come around on Yufufu since her introduction, I still don’t think Azusa needed a mom in this world but it does make for a different way to relax than we’re used to in this show. Also Halkara mentioned what would happen to Azusa if she had another gnome mushroom while already shrunk, I was wondering that too, I’m guessing she’d become an actual baby lol, I’m sure Yufufu would be into that.

And the first bit of the episode with Shalsha, Falfa and Sandra going to school was also pretty good, I didn’t expect Falfa to be a math genius lol, seems kinda out of nowhere even, but Shalsha throwing a ball with the power of gale force winds was expected, I’m surprised that kid could hold it back at all lol. It’s kinda sad tho that the kiddos going to school was so short lived, I thought it could mix things up but it was just for one bit, oh well, it was a cute one.

this season just isn't anywhere nearly as entertaining as the first. way too much focus on little kiddy plot when all of them are 100s of years old (her and her kids). Was half expecting this to pick up the pace a bit and have more randomness like s1 but this just doesn't seem to be going the same direction as the first season. I'm usually all for SoL content, but these 5 eps just aren't as fun as the first season. Also disappointed the edgy singer chicks gone, she's not even on the cover art.

@TheColonel76 I kinda doubt that the author did that, otherwise we probably would've seen more of it than we have. I'd just assume they were probably just thinking about what would be entertaining when writing the next part and decided to use Azusa's "mom" and the shrinkage from season 1 which were already parts of the show to make another entertaining short. Probably just because reusing existing aspects of the story to make another part is easier than coming up with something entirely new all the time.

@TheColonel76 Nah I get it, and I'd probably agree with you on it if the show makes this a often recurring thing (which I hope it doesn't) so long as the author is keeping the main selling point of this show as the focus, which is to be really enjoyable and entertaining, they can do basically anything with it (within a reasonable limit) and I'll still enjoy it.

Azusa and her love of daughters lol. Magical washing sure is conventient. Considering their ages school would be a natural thing for them. Their knowlege level though sure is gonna draw attention. The shrink musrooms strike again huh. The game of house sure was fun. Sandra in little sister mode was adorable. If there's one lesson that the bandits should learn is that they should never mess with Yufufu's daughters when she's in her elated state.

The sweet life continues over at Witch Hill. The twins and Sandra want to tryout going to school. Yufufu gets to foster two daughters for a bit. Now they can dress in style. When Azisa and Sandra are kidnapped, I noticed excellent art and animation on the getaway cart.

Yeah, the anime does downplay the math genius aspect of Falfa. However, we do get some reference to in via the chalkboard that is in her and Shalsa's room in the first season.

The reason why it feels like there's too much focus on the kiddy side of things is due to the fact that:

  1. The show moved the story about Mega Mega being demoted to much earlier in the season (most likely to set things up for the finale).
  2. The idea of the twins being slime spirits is important to introducing the concept of the spirits (and the introduction of Yufufu).
  3. The show would want to have a couple of stories involving Sandra back-to-back as a way for viewers to get acquainted with her.

Momma Yufufu is a great addition!
I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

I really don’t know what Shalsha, Falfa, and Sandra got out of going to school. At best, they just made some new friends (not Sandra though because she doesn’t interact with those outside of Shalsha, Falfa, and Azusa). Shalsha and Falfa knew everything already, so the teacher couldn’t teach them anything (hence why they graduated the SAME DAY), not to mention how unfair P.E. is for the other kids when the two of them are way stronger than some average kids.

And then we move on to Yufufu living out her dream of being a mother in which the funniest scene happens here. Azusa and Sandra are playing house and Sandra plays the role of a Cedar Tree. Since trees don’t talk, she initially doesn’t say anything and then after Azusa asks her to talk, she just talks a lot of crap about humans, making the experience extremely comedic.

Then the three of them go out shopping and at this point, Yufufu might as well have bought all the clothes from that shop.

Once Azusa and Sandra got kidnapped, I knew those goons were cooked, despite Azusa having a smaller body. It’s the first time this season there was some real and serious conflict, but obviously it was settled quickly given from my recollection, Azusa is the strongest person in this world as nobody has beaten her or even put up a challenge against her in a fight.

I apparently missed last week that this episode came out the day after Episode 4, so I gotta watch Episode 6 real quick.

Falfa and Shalsha are too smart for school. They graduated in a day. And, Azusa turned into a child and Yufufu momma became her real mumma for the day and Sandra was the little sister that Azusa wanted. It was very cute.

With Sandra being part of Azusa's family, is it finally time for the slimes to head to school?

Falfa and Shalsha are blending in nicely within school, though each with their quirks of the former's intelligence, the latter's strength, and Sandra's rather unique soil abilities. Due to their unique growth, the slimes have to graduate early, but Sandra can still be kept for further teaching, while the Witch of the Highlands spend time with Momma Yufufu, even eating the gnome-maker mushroom to inevitably shrink and be treated as a young daughter herself.

The family taking in young Azusa once again, and what better way to teach being a daughter to a mother than with Yufufu, though the plant getting watered by the droplet spirit creates a rather unique relationship. To Azusa though, playing house with Sandra is a bit of a challenge, simply because plants and humans converse differently, even when dumbed down to daughtership, but at least they're acting like real young siblings with their make-do mother.

While out on a seemingly leisurely shopping trip, both Azusa and Sandra getting kidnapped by a group of bandits is trouble enough, but thanks to Azusa still having her pwoers intact, at least she held well before Yufufu's arrival to arrest the bandits, and also to end an eventful day before she grows back to normal. But yelp, everyone was discussing about how to dress her lols.

Life is back to normal for Azusa alright...
