| Damn, I didn't realize people were so hyped about tofu in this show. It seems to be a top brand so I guess it makes sense. The kids were hilarious in this episode. One thing about this anime that I find entertaining is that the kids aren't annoying but are just being kids, like the way they should be. |

| So we get a long cliffhanger especially the last part. The thing that stood out to me to was the purple haired girl the way she walked like that suggests she is close to Teru or someone else in the group. Judging by her appearance my guess is she is close to Teru my most likely guess would be his little sister or a cousin but it could also be a close friend or a former classmate that last one seems doubtful tho. Anyway next week should be interesting. |
| One thing that Okinawans are obsessive for, all the more: Shima tofu, quite the unexpected item. To have Okinawa consume the most tofu in all of Japan, this is standard fare for all Okinawans, and Teru spending time at Kana's place eating all sorts of Shima tofu meals, even having tofu for dessert, specifically stretched Jiimamii tofu. And when he's given tofu soaked in Amamori sake, his mistake to "propose" to Kana's grandmother, and the daughter's misunderstanding lols. This hearkens the days back when both Hina and Kana, as kids, were taking care of their ailing grandmother by getting yushi tofu for them, this is all nuchifushi. Home Ec class in school, and Teru gets flustered with all of the Okinawan cooking dialect, until Kana lends a helping hand translating for him. In the end, it definitely is a feast of food, though Yae tried to tease both Teru and Kana together, and Hina just casually bringing them together. She's more a winggirl than an actual love interest lols. Even the high school kids nowadays doing moai is also prepping for the future, which is great when you have a band of friends together. With Kana being fine with things as of now, Yae made sure to hit in the fact that she doesn't want her friend to be sad...or rather, just be happy. And whaddya know, the deja vu of Teru and Hina alone, plus a confession letter, Hina is now made clear that Teru likes her. Who will Teru win the affections of: the casual girl he's been having a crush for, or her friend that has always been crushing on him? |

| "I-is it okay for me to just come?" Sure, Teeruu, al long as you do your duty and ravish Kaanaa, she is way up for a visit, but, goddamn, do not get drunk and hit on her mum. "But to me, you two are both the best nuchigasui yassa." *proceeds to barbecue and eat the two children, all better now* Teeruu really reacted to the squese with Kaanna, but maybe he was reacting to Hiinaa who was pushing them together rather than to Kaanaa. New girl blue hair???? WTH, Teeruu confesses to Hiina OFFSCREEN, (there better be a full flashback next epsiode), and then Kaanaa and Yae INTERUPT?!? |

| I just dont know what Kana sees in Teru. WHO CARES ABOUT HIM, MOVE ON FROM HIM!!!!!!!! Im sure that there are much better options for you!!!! And im very surprised that this anime decided to drama-up the romance entering the final episode. I thought that the romance aspect was just going to be some light-hearted-fun and nothing serious till the end. As for that purple-hair-girl wearing a hoodie, why is the anime introducing what looks like an important new character entering the final episode??!!!! I never like it when animes introduce new-important-characters late in the anime Oh well, one more to go. |

| Aside from the usual Okinawa bits of trivia we actually have some development with the title of the show. Teeru confessed just as Kaana was saying how it would be great if things stayed the way they were forever. I feel like every time a character in any show says that it never happens and this is no exception. What I wonder are 2 things: is Hiina going to answer him next week in the last episode of the season and who even is that purple haired girl who was briefly on screen. |

| Waiting for the exact time that bargain sales or in this case special items of food become available is always amusing but a pretty common thing. Surprising how popular Tofu is on Okinawa. It was cute seeing little Hina and Kana embark on their adventure to help granny recover from her illness. Hina's proving to be quite the assist for Yae unknowingly. Hmm so Moai is like saving up for a special occasion or event huh. Looks like Kana is reluctant to take the next large step needed to advance. That ending though wow. |

| Oh man they did not just hit us with that cliffhanger, this one hurts lol, but I’m thinking things are not as they seem, Kyan did straight up say that Teruaki likes her, but we don’t know what their meeting was about and what’s in that letter, I’m also wondering if the new purple haired girl is related or not. So hopefully it’s not over for us Higa bros just yet lol, but the show itself just about is. And speaking of Higa, I noticed her shirt said “to who?” this episode, I’m not sure what it means but it made me think of a knockoff version of the band “The Who” lol. But besides the plot stuff, there were lots of fun Okinawan bits in this one as always, the tofu stuff was pretty interesting, I sadly have never had it but the many ways it can be prepared looked really good, it also gave us the return of drunk Teruaki which unfortunately didn’t lead to a spicy Higa moment like it first appeared, but her grandma was getting the love instead lol. And I’ll absolutely take another flashback with lil’ Kyan and Higa, the two of them working together to make a tofu dish for grandma was really sweet, just don’t let her know that they cried in the street beforehand lol. The cooking class bit was also a good time, I’ve never had a goya/gooyaa before but I’d like to try one, it’s a funny looking fruit, Kyan’s whole world got flipped upside down when she found out gooyaa isn’t the original name lol. And man it’s gonna be sad to say goodbye to this one next week, I’ll really miss my fill of Okinawan goodness every Saturday. |

| Between another hilarious 'drunk' Teru scene, an adorable flashback, a cute Kana moment, some fun okinawan facts as always, a mysterious new girl being teased and of course that great cliffhanger that I hadn't seen coming at all... what a nice episode. Easily one of my favorites so far! I thought that the love triangle was going to stay in the background until the end, well... let's see how it goes! |

| I don't know whether to believe it's a bait or not, but based on what Hina has said, it looks like Teru has confessed. I don't want Kana to suffer she's the best girl The pressure of waiting a whole week to find out what's going on is real! And who is that purple haired girl? It's strange to introduce a new character when there's barely one episode left for the anime to end. Does this mean there's a possibility of another season? |

| I have never watched an anime where a love polygon just feels so out of place lol. This massive showcasing of Okinawa tourism and culture clashes hard with the romantic subplot for me at least lol, makes for a pretty interesting watch. I also agree others, it'll be some misunderstanding, but it'll nevertheless have an impact all three of them with their feelings and development. |

| This is one hell of a cliffhanger, I don't think it will be the usual misunderstanding. Maybe the next episode will end in an even bigger cliffhanger. If this doesn't get a new season... I have a new manga to read. |
| Another sunday means another Episode of Okitsura. I personally really like this anime even though it is no masterpiece however it is still nice to watch every week and is a nice end of week watch. Okinawan's love tofu by the seems of it and it burned Teru. I find it hard to mention much else even though i do only watch this once a week as it airs but TERU SERIOUSLY MAN YOU ASK KYAN OUT, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SOME MISUNDERSTANDING BUT NO SERIOUSLY, HIGA IS SO MUCH BETTER MAN, SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER MAN, I DONT LIKE SAYING THIS BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A GOONER BUT HIGA IS BEST GIRL I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS. Tsk tsk tsk. |
| I couldn't help but laugh when the "Google" search engine for when Teru was using to check on the Moai is called "Boobie". XD While most of the episode was the usual wholesome and educational stuff as before, it got going with the romance progression towards the end with some speed. Yae pressing the matter for Kana to make a move on Teru was good of her to do, being the best wingwoman and all, but it does look like Hina beat Kana to the punch. It's a bit hard to tell if us viewers are getting baited here or not, but considering how we had a more serious BGM playing while Hina ran out of the classroom, heavily blushing while acknowledging that Teru likes her is pretty convincing enough that this is pretty serious. Plus, there was also that purple-haired girl that appeared who looked back at Teru's group while out in the neighbourhood. It's a shame that she appears when there's only one episode left, but maybe it could mean a second season could happen? If so, then I will be very happy! For now, I do look forward to seeing how this serious development progresses in the final episode. |

| even if Hina rejects Teeruu I doubt things would work out with him and Kaana so this is just sad all around, wonder what role this purple haired girl is going to play seeing as there is only one episode left (unless there’s a second cour that will be announced after this next episode)  |

| Hina is the best girl by far |
| This episode had the most cooking time in the whole anime. We also see a new character, kind of by thins point as we at the last episode. Either she'll bee at the last or make her appearance in the next season if we ever got. But the things really gets spice up things happen at the ending, Teruaki has finally confessed his felling to Hina. That came as a surprise to me, they never dropped a hint that he'll ever do that and cherry on top, Kana saw it. I never expected from this show to take this route, will be fun to see how it plays out. |

| Dude, Teru always ends up drunk one way or another. It's nice that they were worried about Grandma when they were little. Some of them were a little inconsiderate in cooking class... It's good that, as usual, everything ended well! I'm curious to know who that girl wearing a cap was. With that ending to the episode, I'm a little nervous about starting the next one... Anyway, this is almost over. Good episode! |
