| Seirei no Moribito Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuioku-hen Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 -- "Endearing storytelling" doesn't really fit here (maybe for a couple of episodes) -- but it's a masterpiece for animation and most of all: the OST. |

| I don't really give out 10's (I literally have 5) so here are some almost masterpieces that are CLOSE to perfect if not for a few things holding them back (imo): Natsume Yuujinchou (seasons 3 & 4 are 2 of my five 10's. Also, season 7 starts in a little over a week! I can't wait!) Moriarty the Patriot Hikaru no Go Barakamon Bakuman Major Gin no Saji Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 Shoukoku no Altair Kaleido Star Shinsekai yori Hajime no Ippo Also, +1 from me for Mushishi, Mo Dao Zu Shi, and Dororo. Mononoke as well, but the animation is something to get used to lol (it's very artistic. I quite like it, but not everyone does). |

You need to watch Mawaru Penguindrum!! You won't regret. This is such a gem and still not so many people have seen this anime.
