| Really loved the second episode as well. Lucy is a great girl. Love her energy and I think David will get along with her well... until that last scene. LOL. Another trigger waifu to the list. Nice. David needed that little bit of cheer-up from someone after what he's going through. |

| Thank goodness they stopped playing music over every dialogue scene. Lucy betraying him made things more interesting. |

| The pacing is still pretty ridiculous but the ending was dope, David was having it way too easy with Lucy so quickly that something definitely was up. I liked the insert song from the game in this episode "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" a lot, and the usage of music while a bit too absurd at times, did at least calm down in certain scenes and used less obnoxiously than the premiere. Less is more sometimes in shows like these. |
| I like Lucy. She's my type. But this ending, ouch. David learns that in Night City you need to be careful about newly met people. Especially when they are so much helpful right from the start, just like Lucy was. |

| I didn't even realize Lucy was voiced by Yuuki Aoi until I looked at the Mal page. That womans voice range is crazy! Aside from that I really REALLY like how this show handles worldbuilding. There have been no voice overs, no expositional texts, no conveniently placed advertisements or explanation videos, no "as you know" moments, not even a clunky conversation about some core concept and still I already feel familiar with the world and how things generally work. All through visual details, story situations and natural dialogue. Same with characterization. We know Lucy for like half an episode and we've already seen so many different sides of her. It's baffling how precise you can write something like that and still make nothing feel forced. This is shaping up to be an outstanding anime. |

I'd say it's far better than generic anime ost. I guess I want something more electronic or darker than something I'd hear in Fooly Cooly, given how dark the setting is. There was a death metal track that played during a battle in a later episode that was kinda cool at least. |

| I wasn't sure how to feel about this episode. Why couldn't the doc give him the pills from the start? Did I miss something or what? Wtf. And that scene when they get out from the ambulance... lol But I was pleasantly surprised by the twist at the end. Good. |
