| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, Hanami doesn't look good at all after his fight. Interesting we got an episode of...baseball. They even got their outfits on for the occasion. I love how Nobara got ticked off this episode lol. This is a such a creative way to do a breather episode. Even Panda got his chance to bat on the field. Nice. |

| Hanami BARELY survived that ordeal with brothers Yuuji and Toudou (plus Gojou-sensei's massive technique), but what Mahito and the other cursed humans and spirits came there for, they got it: more of Sukuna's Fingers, and the added possibility of testing the barrier for future uses. Man, wickedness knows no bounds in preparation for the long-running, best arc in Jujutsu Kaisen: the Shibuya Incident arc. If we get a 2-cour Season 2, it might just wash this season out of the water. As to be expected, the damage done was warrant enough to inform the higher-ups of the stolen special-grade cursed items, but keeping mum is also the safe option lest of leaks that could become a probability for more disaster. The "Ace of Jujutsu" Koshien baseball is most certainly a breather after the travesty that is the invasion of the cursed spirits. Everyone's playing baseball normally...EXCEPT Mechamaru, whose spare body was converted into a pitcher machine (after the fight with Panda). Even brothers Yuuji and Toudou got into the action nicely. Other than Gojou-sensei being the marvelous chad (even when dressed down to his casuals) and not crushing the ants on the ground... The sakuga with Maki pitching against Toudou and hitting his face with the ball...NICE PITCH. Hang in there, Toudou! You're hated by everyone, but brotherly-loved by Yuuji! The Juju Sanpo lead up from last episode, whether dog or cat person, or eats rice or bread, Panda will always be Panda. Funny-ily hilarious. |

He "conquered all middle schools in Japan with Itadori" (y'know how delinquents/yankees love to challenge and defeat the head delinquent of other schools) |

| My God some of those character info cards were so hilarious! Panda : Wants to punch Zebra someday. Toudou : Won the middle school nationals with Itadori. Itadori denies this. These 2 made my day! |

| Wasn’t expecting a full slice of life baseball episode lol but that’s cool it was a chill experience. I’m hype we’re getting origin of obedience and then the setup for shibuya arc in season 2. Great job MAPPA. |

| Hanami got destroyed. Who's that monk kid? Other than that, Toudou chasing Itadori was hilarious. Megumi wants to surpass Itadori. That's gonna be interesting. Baseball isn't a bad way to chill. And, well some of them don't even know the rules. Ngl, Goujou was looking great in those shades. That slow-motion Toudou face getting yoinked was hilarious AF. This episode was chill and kinda relaxing from all that fight so far. So, that was pretty solid episode. "Toudou, Everyone hates you". LMAO. |

| Both Todo haters and Todo lovers can come together over him getting hit in the face lol.(Even the dog was barking "Nice pitch"😂) I really dig the symbolism of Gojo stepping on a bunch of ants but none of them being crushed. He defies the natural order but doesn't do it to cause harm. I also like how whenever Mahito shows up the tone of the story changes. The way Nanami described him personifies the story in a sense. A lighthearted surface with a sinister strength lurking underneath. Speaking of which, a couple episodes ago everyone was gung-ho about killing Itadori but now it's a lighthearted sports anime lol. Well if you looked at the preview you know what tone the next episode is going for. Anyone notice they fixed Todo's name? |
| A nice funny break that was super enjoyable, I really liked it no complaints at all, but I can't wait to get back to horrible dramatic stuff happening and fights. Also I wonder if Toudou and Itadori will go back to being brothers again, I found it funny how once all the adrenaline was gone Itadori realized how crazy his actions seemed. |

| Mahito and Hanami had a surprsingly wholesome moment. Fun episode, this series even succeeds as a sports anime. Talk of subverting expectations. Gojo troll level unmatched and Mecha as pitching mashine lol. Triggered Maki and Todo were also great. |

| Enjoyed this episode a lot more than I expected to after the preview made me raise my eyebrows. Great job of winding things down with the League of Curse's plan being revealed and all the teachers discussing the situation. Also glad that the two principals (Panda's dad and guitar grandpa) decided that they should keep an eye on Itadori instead of hatching yet another plan to take him out. Of course the main draw was the baseball game, which was really enjoyable. Kept laughing over the title cards and various shenanigans, from Todo getting wrecked by Maki to Nobara throwing a tantrum over the Mechumaru pitching machine. Everyone is just so entertaining to watch, and so even a breather episode like this is a blast. Next episode looks to be getting back to pre-tournament arc mood, which is a good thing, but with only 3 episodes left I doubt things will escalate too much. |

| Honestly surprised that Hanami managed to escape Gojo's Hollow Purple with her life... She is in really bad shape though. Also that blond guy is beyond crazy, I don't like him. He literally was ready to put Hanami down... Honestly, this was a really enjoyable episode. Gojo as carefree as ever and just put Baseball into the games for the exchange event. Probably one of the best baseball episodes I have seen. What were some of those character descriptions though? XD they were freaking hilarious, I really appreciated that laugh after some really serious episodes! |

| This episode just seemed so fun with the baseball playing and the friendship between Yuuji and Todou once again. I was lowkey shocked to see Hanami actually survived but it was to be expected since they are one of the main antangonist in the show at the moment. I can't wait to see how they finish up the season. |
