| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Edna made her appearance ;o Hmm, so we got another dragon in berserk mode (Edna's bro) although I think this one is even more vicious than the one Velvet encountered. Sorey goes gets his power boost again, felt like deja vu. Pretty intense episode imo. Edna seems like an interesting character especially with the little flashbacks about her already. |

| Damn. That was a little bit sad huh? And i guess this finally confirms what everyone that's interested in berseria already knows. Eizen turned into a dragon. Good episode. The bridge is finally broken. And all the amazing OST played this episode like "Competing with the Honor of the Land" and "Zaveid the Exile"<333 |
| I guess, the hype for Edna will be justified later on in this series. I found Zaveid, Mikleo and Sorey to be more entertaining in this episode. Really good scenes all around. Great animation towards the end. |

| Good episode, Actions is looking good as always. So we're introduced to Edna and Zaveid, The dragon's design looks demonic as expected. I'm really liking the designs for the dragons shown so far. Interesting, The dragon is actually her brother :o Typical of Sorey to try to want to save the dragon, Wonder if they'll come up with a way. Wish we could have seen more of Edna's powers, She didn't really do much in the fight. Zaveid seems like a cool guy, Wonder what other powers he has apart from that anti-hellion gun. Sorey's fight sequence in his shepherd mode was so epic, That slash to the head was amazing. Especially with flame surrounding it makes for more flashy awesomeness. Meanwhile Mikleo has found the bow. :) |

| Yeah, they're using that amazing game OST. I love it. But I kinda dislike changes made to Zaveid. He should be real bastard at this point and fight with Sorey, not with dragon. And Edna should be more of argumentative character, too. Well, s*** happens. Btw, Eizen is a playable character in Tales of Berseria. He's also best bro 2016, apparently. |
| HOLY FUCK EARTH TRIAL OST AND ZAVEID's OST IM HYPE . HAHA. Interesting "alternate story" , personally I would hope that Eizen can be cured...or at least let him turn into human form at his very final moment.. This bring so much sadness for those who have played Berseria(i seriously havent move on uwahhh) and Zaveid finally appears. (yeah edna too , i wasnt fond of that little twerp but her witty dialogue is really likeable) |

| THEY PLAYED ZAVEID"S THEME! That was what I was most looking forward to alongside Edna joining the crew. Too bad they didn't let it get to the best part of the song though, but I'm sure that will come along later and blow anime-only viewers' socks off. Such a great and hype song. Finally starting to get back into the groove of Zestiria. Last week felt really awkward after a couple weeks of Berseria, but we're back on track now. Can't wait for the in the coming episodes. Yeah, this was a big change in how Zaveid is presented to the viewer compared to how he was presented to the player in the game. I was a little disappointed they didn't have a little scuffle to the tune of "Zaveid the Exile", but him fighting the dragon was badass enough to balance out. He's actually more likeable in this adaptation because of the fact they toned his bastard levels down, so no real complaints from me. |

| Everything this week is all well and good, but how exactly do Edna and Zaveid know that the dragon is actually Edna's brother? Surely that's something you'd only know if you saw him transform, cos it's not as if he can say who he is or, seemingly, actually remember who he once was? Oh well, dragon looked awesome and the new characters seem pretty interesting, so this is certainly an improvement. Not quite sure yet what to make of that post-credit scene before the preview for the next episode, but I'm sure it'll be explained next week. |
| Wow they did an awesome job bringing in Berseria elements into the Zestiria anime this time around.Zaveid was less douchey but they justified that by turning him into the bro that wants to save his fellow bro (Eizen) because of his promise (presumably more Berseria connection here). | That was a really cool fight against the dragon. I thought Zaveid would stick around a bit longer but maybe he'll show up again at some point. Well it looks like Edna is going to join Sorey's group for now. Hopefully we'll get to see what she's capable of soon. Pretty interesting post-ED scene as well...... |

Seraphs can sense other Seraphs, or something to that effect. So I imagine that Edna and Zaveid could tell it was Eizen even if he was transformed. |

| The episode was boring af. Finally Edna, one of the only interesting characters in the game appears! Ufotable can't save this shit, but I gotta keep watching just in case something in the anime changes drastically to fit Berseria's storyline. |

| Good episode , i was quite disspointed from the last episode but this one took me by suprise , really liked zaveid showing some emotions in his fight with eizen it gets me more curious to see what happened to eizen in tales of berseria and let's not forget edna , that loli sure is cute xD she's over a hundred years easily , so , it's legal |

| Decent action this week. I think the animation and characters make viewers overlook what is quite a poor story. It's trying to be expansive and world building which it can't pull off over if 12 episodes. It's all over the place at times which is a shame as it's quite entertaining. |

So it will be 25 episodes + the episode 0 prologue, so 26 in total. The pacing is just fine in that regard. |

| This episode lived up to expectations, heck it even surpassed them. The whole Edna/Eizen situation was handled so much better in the anime than in the game. Really hyped for Berseria even more to learn more about Eizen's character and how he became a dragon. Easy 5/5 |

| i've been watching this show solely for this episode alone, when best girl Edna shows up. and i must say, that ToZX did NOT disappoint at all ~ i mean, just look at this angel *o*  she is perfection 😍 spazzing over the goddess aside, i was really impressed with how they handled the story compared to the game. i'm really interested in how they're gonna explain everything. really excited for the episodes to come :3 |

| My fav character is finally here!!! Edna is here!!! xD and lol, i didn't expect that VA. fit well with her personality xD like it a lot. reminds me of yami somehow but a bit upbeat. that dragon is actually a seraphim ?! just how can that happen lol... the action is obviously great. but somehow this episode felt kinda weird to me tbh. well i enjoyed it but at the same time it felt weird. like...something's wrong with this epsiode. either too rushed or something else...but i still enjoyed it xD glad to know that Sorey finally made a contract with Edna. now i want to see him transform with Edna powers. must be cool xD and next episode will be the contract between Sorey and Mikleo. looking foward to the next episode. |

| Edna and Zaveid in this episode were great more CG dragon's though, honestly the biggest reason I want to play Berseria is to find out what happened to Aizen. |
| 8 Episodes in and we just met Edna. 9th episode we'll be at the bridge where I wonder how original they plan to go in S2 because 24-25 eps is not enough at the pace they're going lol. |
