Woah, super attack. Tomino's trademark misery and death starts making an appearence.
"I'm starting to think mal is run by Xinil generating electricity on a bicycle." - idklol
I actually thought Cosmo would have a nervous breakdown long before this episode. I felt for him. Camyula was so kind to him...much kinder than those on the Solo ship.
Great episode. The animation quality really increased. I wonder if I''ll be able to find a less blocky looking verson of the show cause it's getting pretty intense visually.
As soon as the hero isn't almighty anymore, he breaks down pretty quickly. Well, after all, he's just a kid who faced death.
Like it wasn't enough, he killed the Commander by trying to extirpate the her ?! Eerk. It was about time he cracked for someone who lost his family and was constantly under pressure since then.
Cosmo has it rough. Being traumatized by the Buff clan's surprise attack and having to witness someone that is really kind to him only to die before his eyes. His breakdown toward the end is so well done that I thought he's channeling it through the Ideon and it's quite a powerful scene. I like how the show escalated slowly becoming darker and darker.
the scene at the end with Ideon's scream was wonderful, it gave me chills.
the best episode so far, i can see why evangelion took inspiration from this show, I fear this will be the last sane moments of Cosmo, this episode was very hard on him, with the near-death experience and also Camyula's death.
she was kind to him.
