| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So it continues from #8 into the creepy parts of a old water mill. Where the Prince takes the banshee and scares the hell out of Nico with his Unseelie court black wolf. Basically Edgar has doubts he can protect Lydia. Kelpie appears to reaffirm that and thus instead decides to do some brainwashing attack with his eyes on Edgar to perhaps even kill him. Good thing Raven comes in and saves the day. After that Lydia goes and Edgar starts to drink. I am surprised that they used real brands in the alcohols. Jack Daniels drinker here! :P Also they used Beefeater Gin. Will post pics in spoiler for you to see as proof. :P Then I though they were going to kiss. :O No way 1.This is way more cuter than the kissing part on the forefront. Edgar is very much drunk and Lydia is too shy shy girl. 1.  Check the alcohol brands. They are real in the 3D world. After subs thoughts I was shocked that Banshee actually admitted the smell of that guy is tied to the Blue Knight family. Nico losing his whiskers was of course :( Lydia......Kelpie--------------->Lydia<----------------Edgar which one can it be? The spectral hounds was freaky when he changed from the small kid with the glasses. |

| First half of the episode had alot of talking I couldn't follow rawxD The latter half... had alot of lovey dovey stuff=D More than anything we've gotten so far... Edgar's mating season now xD |

| My wishes were granted and episode 09 was subbed and released (incredibly FAST). :D Episode 09 was great and it was nice that it revealed quite a few things, which I already know...lol....but it was still good. Such as Also, it was quite sad when In general, this is an excellent series with excellent progression and I am begging for a 2nd season (literally!!!). :P :lol: :D |

I'm guessing Selkie = Silkie. So, are they going to stick to tradition, and say that Ulysses has hidden her pelt? I'd also like a ghost hound, or Unseelie Court, for myself too please? ^^ |
| Poor Nico lost his whiskers, his gentleman's pride has been thouroughly shot down. *changes to fangirl mode* Edgar is much hawtness to begin with, but he is so SOOOOO KYEWT when he's drunk!!! X-D~~~ *reverts to normal* I would be a tad disappointed too, though if something similar happened to me. I feel for Lydia. Nearly swept away and he has to pass out after saying Ermine's name. Cute or not, I'd would have had to find my whackin' stick and give the man a good beating.... |

| Lydia is such a terrible character with a surprising lack of self-worth. I had hopes for her, but I don't really care about what happens to her...such a bad character. Now that I thinik of it, I'm not sure that there are any good characters on this show. Everyone is either destructively selfish or abhorrently selfless. |
| Wow, the animation dropped dramatically in this episode, and even character design felt random (subcontracting ftw !). The ending scene, although horribly drawn, was nice though, and the episode had a good atmosphere overall. |

| Hm-m, this episode was a bit more emotional intense than the previous episodes. The thing about Ermine being a Selkie didn't really surprise me: how else could it be that she was alive if you're not thinking about realistic things? The thing that Kelpie did was weird, the hypnotising thingy. What would have happened if it continued? Oh, and more dangerous: Ermine and Kelpie talking about a woman who's going to die soon? (If I'm not mistaken) Or at least about someone who's going to die... Poor Nico. Cutting the whiskers of a cat is the most horrible thing you can do to a cat! My, that drunken Edgar scene... I don't know to either love it or like it. He was getting drunk after he heard that Ermine turned into a Selkie, which must have come as a shock to him. Then he tries to take Lydia away to the bedroom, but luckily for Lydia he falls asleep. It would have been a big impact on Lydia if something happened to her, no matter how nice she is. She should have hit him at least, but no. Pfoo. Kid being a Spectral Hound didn't come in hard. Already expected something like this as he was given some screentime in previous episodes, so he had to have a bigger role... |

| Ahhh I rather like this ep and the romance at the end! Yesss I'm a sucker for the end part*sigh w/ happiness* Initially, I was hoping for something like that to happen, and it did! Yay shoujo~ XD Though...awwh I was practically chanting in my head, kiss her kiss her kiss her <_< And I was shocked speechless after hearing the word Ermine out of his mouth...tch tch Edgar. But I was happy too since hopefully this will make Lydia realise she loves him D< Dang it Lydia! You love him. You just too busy being in denial to realise that XD haha wheee~ I'm feeling energised! |

| I just realized something very important that they never mentioned again after ep 3 I think o.o but yeah gonna keep that to myself since it can be spoiler. *sigh* Edgar should have stoped talking.......he's starting to make me feel angry I mean if Lydia ends with him she's stupid cause he's obviously in love with Ermine and that's SOMETHING i'm surprised I knew since the beggining. |
