| It's not as good as the 2006-2015 era, but still WAY better than 2016-2022. The year is similar to 2023 in quality. |
| Pretty good just like every other year of this decade. The Fall season, usually one of the strongest, will be decisive to determine whether it's going to be better than 2021-2022-2023 or not. |

| Pretty good for some sequels. Dangers in My Heart, Mushoku Tensei, Kingdom and Monogatari are all pretty damn awesome to have back. Don't know if it is overall better than last year but at least I'm getting something I like with each season, which is a good change from a couple years ago. |

| I've seemingly missed out on the series that most people talk about like GBC, but I liked Blue Archive the Animation, Dungeon Meshi, and Atri. I'm really excited for Re:Zero season 3 as well. So, I think that I'd say it's a pretty good year for anime IMO :) |

| The ongoing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War for many reasons. The nostalgia factor and After waiting so long since I finished the manga, it incredibly satisfying to see it come to life with such high-quality animation and storytelling.. As a mystery fan I'll give 2nd place to Kamonohashi Ron which I found fantastic for its intricate mysteries and engaging detective. work. 3rd place will be natsume youjinchou Shichi. Natsume franchise brought such warmth and beautiful anime over the years about finding your place in life by meeting the right friends to support you.its brought something new to the youkai genre. Yurucamp (Laid-Back Camp)3 at 4th continued to offer me that cozy, feel-good camping vibe, perfect backdrop and sceneries . And 5th place to Shinanoko koshitantan My Deer Friend for a bit of nonsensical comedy which was fun watch. |

| Not bad. Kny hashira training was the best so far. Bleach will be amazing as well. Lots of good romcoms so far. |

Update: Fall is turning out to be a very weak season, saved only by Chi.; definitely much weaker than the last three Fall seasons. On the other hand though, when I posted my previous comment I hadn't watched the anime of the decade Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction yet. If I also take Look Back into account (waiting for it to be available), I think I can safely say that 2024 surpassed 2021 and it is for me the best year of the 2020s. |

| "Delicious in Dungeon" along with "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth" (Vinland Saga but with Polish Astronomy) might just be my personal picks for anime of the year, if we dont count Frieren and Apothecary Diaries as this year's anime. Worst anime of the year is Uzumaki, what an absolute train wreck of a production 5 years in the making. Winter and Spring were pretty great seasons, Summer was kinda dead (like irl summer) and relied on last seasons longer shows to pick up the slack, Fall seems to be another banger season not counting Uzumaki trash. |

| If we're including Frieren, Apothecary Diaries, and Dungeon Meshi, which all finished airing in 2024, then it's stacked. Also Kimi ni Todoke S3 was fire and 10/10, longer eps worked really well. I've been eating good this year. Astro Note and Metallic Rouge were surprising hits for me. Dadadan looks very promising. |
