| It's hard read this as anything but the mangaka's own commentary about the series getting cancelled due to it's poor poll placement. Definitely makes it the most fascinating run of chapters the series has put out, looking forward to seeing how this resolves. |
| The author really just put it in the manga that his own serie will end soon. That's just sad but unique way to do so. It had potential in the end but alright. They live in one hell of a world with difficult and strict rules. |

| It seems like the mangaka, upon getting axed, decided to turn the metanarrative into one exploring axed series, and it's great. Depending on how this ends, this might be an axed series worth reading despite its fate. I also like how part of the story at least seems to be talking shit (and rightfully so IMO) to the Japanese readers who did get this series axed. It's a bit petty in the best kind of ways. Still wish it would have gotten a fair shot because the series deserved to not get axed. |

| If this is how Red Hood's gonna go down, then I love it lmao. The description of "readers" are so accurate, they are indeed merciless. It would be fucking amazing if the Mayor wins and everything just gets deleted. C'mon Kawaguchi-sensei, do it. It's really a shame though, the world is so interesting, I love the folklore premise. But alas, it's not meant to be. I saw rumors that there's only 1 or 2 chapters left? I hope it at least ends with a bang. |

| This manga had a strong first couple of chapters, and this one was on par with them. Everything in the middle was really forgettable and poorly storyboarded. Not every assistant finds instant success with their own series. |

| Ok, y do I feel like it's just ending (not the arc, but the series as a whole)? It was just getting interesting, but the plot went to 1000 too fast! From werewolves to recruiting hunters to the mayor kidnapping MC then discovering the book then somehow breaking the fourth wall telling them to end it all (the story). |
