Broadcasting Order should be more better according to me, because that's simply how the author intends to tell the story.

Some part of the story needs to be told first rather than the rest part of the story, simply to make the story more impactful.

Broadcast order is probably better so you know what you're supposed to know at the right times, though nothing against chronological... but imo I'd be a bit lost.

Always go with broadcast order to watch an anime. You'll understand everything way better.

Broadcast order is the correct way to go about it.

Chronological order is a good alternative when rewatching the show.

not sure about Haruhi, but I can say broadcast order for Monogatari is better than chronological for the most part. Chronological is way too much jumping between seasons and episodes to make it worthwhile or enjoyable. Though I did changed it up a bit by starting with Kizumonogatari movies first, and then continued with broadcast starting with Bake.

I did personally found it better, as I have once dropped Monogatari before, starting with Bake and going pure broadcast didn't work so well for me.

There are certain issues there too however, mainly Kizu movies are newer, and have much better animation than Bake, so going to Bake from them could be a bit of a punch in the face on that front. But I did found Bake's story engaging more when I knew some things from prequel. I do not necessarily recommend trying that as the very first option, but if you will feel like dropping Bake, you might give it a try.

In the case of the first Haruhi season the TV station messed up and changed the intended broadcasting order (which was different from the chronological one) and released the episodes in some third order...which wasn't chronological but also wasn't intended and thus hard to follow and spoiler-ish .

I tried both and enjoyed both.
So if you love the series it doesn't matter which way you watch it because you'll still love the series.

For haruhi go for chronological, things get boring at times but atleast everything makes sense.
Broadcast for Monogatari. Some moments are different in prequels when compared to how sequel portrayed them and I feel like watching the worse (sequel) version of backstory is better than watching the nice one first just to get disappointed to how the sequel portrayed the same thing.

I'm watching anime since 2012. I also play games, sometimes.

Don't bother me if you want to 'become friends' or things like that.
It's tiresome. I know you just want to collect some meaningless numbers.

Broadcast order, DUH!
Why is this even a thing? Are people really this dense these days? Do you think studios just decide to adapt chapters in some random order?
They're called flashbacks and prequels for a reason. You're supposed to know the current events before seeing things from the past.

I try to go for intended broadcast order which is obviusly usually just broadcast order but sometimes someone f*cks up. Basically you should watch a show the way it was intended by the creators that you should watch it for reasons that I hope are obvious.

Most of the time broadcast order, which includes Monoogatari. For a few of them, in chronological order, Haruhi works better for me. In other times, I wouldn't do either if there are alternative versions of a franchise.

Release order.

Less hassle and some artist intentionally present things out of chronological order.

So F/SN 2006 then the UBW movie then Fate/Zero then F/SN UBW 2014 followed by the HF movies?

Well, I advise u not to watch 2006 version it's the worst U can watch UBW or Zero whichever u want first but u should watch Zero because that explains a lot of things U can watch or not watch the ubw movie its all depends on u after that u can watch HF or any other spinoff.

Broadcast order for the majority of circumstances. If you're not sure, /r/anime has a watch order section of their wiki which gives more details about various shows.

For Monogatari series, broadcast order is recommended. Watch order is available on reddit. If you watch the Monogatari series in chrono order, it just takes out all the mystery and foreshadowing.

For Haruhi, chrono order is recommended cause the broadcast order is pretty shit tbh. Confusing as hell.

For Haruhi, chronological order makes more sense than Broadcast order

For the Monogatari series, broadcast or chronological really doesn't make too much of a difference cause the story is confusing anyway but personally I'd go for broadcast. Chronologically starts to become a chore once you reach Monogatari Series Second Season since some arcs take place relative to events in the prequels/sequels iirc
