| Great episode! Animation looks good, but it seems Unlimited Blade Works looks better. Gonna wait for BD's to make a final judgement. So it seems this is an alternate timeline on what happens when the 3rd war disappeared. I wonder if we'll see Shirou and Tohsaka here, but I kinda like how this one focuses on different characters and timeline. Waver is here though, so anything is possible. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| i expected a changes in this series factory, although in the start advice that this anime it will not be about master, servants and Saints plot, it wil be about about persons, but how advanced the episode was a tipical a "fate" episode!!! A little dissapointing with this first episode, but in general was a 7/10.... |

| I could not look at this one anime series, from the works of the Type-Moon. The beginning was exciting, but without continuing on the straight line, I liked the introductory explanation. I just hope that the quality of the drawings, the animations and the rest does not fall suddenly during the season. |

| Hmm I guess this was alright. Action sequences and character designs are top quality for sure, but the exposition bits are a bit boring. Pretty sure Fate/Zero had longer conversations that felt like half the duration of those here. I heard this becomes a trainwreck later on but I'll continue watching anyway. |

I would have gladly rated the UBW anime a whole point higher if it hadn't been so cowardly with the romance. That romance was promising and had great moments, but fizzled terribly near the end IMO. This show looks very interesting, though. I am loving Shishigou and Mordred. :D |

Characters are nothing to write home about but that is to be expected so hopefully at least the content of the characters that I liked gets handled well before it all goes to shit. Since its full two cour adaptation maybe add some anime original material to those characters that get shafted latter on. Would be cool but I am not gonna expect that. Cinematography and music side of things also does not stand out. Its all competent enough for this adaptation I guess, at least it is not as bad as FGO OVA was, even though bot adaptations have similar intent(marketing) and both production teams clearly were not out to make anything too grand or stunning. Let's just hope all the action animation remains top notch to make it worth putting up to all the utterly dumb things to come in this story. 7/10 Gasp! Do my eyes deceive me? A post from this guy where he actually DOESN'T HATE the thing he's talking about? I've read a lot of the Fate discussion threads here, and this is a first for me. :D |

| It is the start of Great Holy Grail War with 14 servants and masters competing. Episode 1 was exciting. It got me interested for the series. |
