I read up to chapter 9. The characters are another reason why I liked Tonikaku more, I just find Nasa and Tsukasa more charming, likeable, and interesting to watch. Some of the side characters aren't bad either.

I did try to get into Taishou Otome a few times, but it didn't work out in the end.

It's great for what it does I think, you can expect some cute and wholesome stuff happening between Tsukasa and Nasa in the majority of chapters, and seeing those two interact is a lot of fun. Although if it does keep going this way I'm afraid it'll eventually get stale for me too, at least it's not super repetitive and annoying like Kaguya though.

On the other hand, I actually got bored by Taishou Otome Otogibanashi. I'm in a weird place with SoL, most of it bores me, but then something appears that I really like.

Yeah, Fujimaru is trash, he doesn't have a character in the game either, he's basically a walking camera for the player's POV, so he ends up sticking out in a bad way when you turn him into an anime character.

Mash is pretty boring too tbh. And I agree about Gil, imagine expressing your dislike for him in front of his fans, 99% of them are going to lose their minds, lol.

I haven't read that, I might give it a try though.

FSN takes place somewhere in the early 2000's. The TM wiki says 2004 but they don't have a proper source for that and I don't remember if it was ever specified like that.

Apocrypha is supposed to take place around the same time as FSN in a parallel world, the exact year isn't specified.

that's not true, there are characters that don't have any psychological aspects

some characters have them but it isn't anything out of the ordinary

some characters have heavy psychological aspects to them, like if they use their brain a lot to make smart and complicated plans, if their thought process differs drastically from a normal person, or how their mind gets affected during the course of the story (or if it's affected from the start) is an important part of them, and this is what i classify as a "psychological character"
