Why is Kagari suddenly talking and has actual emotions and stuff? Why does her voice not fit her design at all? I guess it kinda grew on me but the first time I heard it I thought it was super weird. She does seem like an awesome character though, she's pretty funny and kinda cute I guess, not to mention badass when she took out Yoshino like he were nothing haha.

What the hell happened to Kotori. She went to crazy land.

So yeah, really intrigued by where things are going despite my previous misgivings, but still worried about the episode count (here's hoping for split cour).

In regards to Kagari:
(1) It feels like they should've explained why sucks on Tennouji's arm at the very least by this point. Like, now that she's finally speaking, why would he not be asking her a bunch of questions? About that, why she tried to kill him, etc.
(2) On that note, why is only NOW starting to speak?
(3) Very curious about her significance to the plot and what kind of being she is.

1) Kagari-chan, the self proclaimed most fabulous being on existence, lost her memories so it would be useless for Kotarou to ask her anything, he doesn't ask useless questions like how he didn't ask ShizuRucia more about Guardian. I don't know why he didn't ask Kagari why she bit his arm after losing her memories though.

2) That meteor and if my guess is right it is spoiler, the part where she is talking is anime original but the VN readers have an idea about the reason behind that.

3) BIG SPOILER. Wait and see, it would probably be revealed in one or two chapters more I think.

I don't think that Rewrite will have a second cour and it would be impossible to explain all your questions in just five chapters, well answering without destroying the story.

This anime sure took a whole different road all the sudden! Interesting development, but quite strange and I do got mixed feelings with this change.

Well.. now we can safely say this has nothing to do with the game anymore... or that they are actually retelling whole the story with different events. It's not a new route, just mix of everything.

They basically took away all the mystery (even scene with Inoue was more lighthearted than it should be), put all the routes together and steped away from protagonist POV, showing what everyone does in the story. I don't think this is necesarilly bad and the scene with Shimako, Sakuya, Akane and Chihaya was actually good but let's hope they had thing thought up well, it could be road to hell.

Also, the OP was full of spoilers and I mean it. Really don't know why they are revealing things upfront.

But as for Kagari, well, please just forget it, this part of episode shouldn't even exist here. There is no way she would actually called hereself -chan or talk like that. They basically took her character from fandisk (or bonus oppai route) and put it into main story, it doesn't make any sense.

I dropped this anime back in 2016 after watching 7 episodes. I'm now doing the 2018 Anime Watching Challenge and one of the categories is to finish an anime that I previously dropped...so here we go.

This episode was a bit better than I remember the previous ones being, but it still didn't really move me at all. I've forgotten what is going on plot-wise, but that's cool. I'm just gonna plod through and cross this thing off my list!
