Like I've said before having cars connected to net are dangerous and you shouldn't buy them and now more models have been hacked and while on the highway of all things.

The hack while another test, just shows how incredibly dangerous newer model cars are becoming, it should be illegal to have cars connected to the internet, it's unsafe for the road and millions could be injured and killed per year if hackers with a malicious purpose start hacking these vehicles. Just get an older vehicle, it's far safer than these high tech coffins.

I don't like the newer models having these attachments in the system. It becomes to hard to self repair your own vehicle and more expensive.

Both owned by Fiat, also.

One more reason to not buy a car from FCA group.

saw this news on reddit a while ago, they should start adding firewalls if this keeps up for the short term, but the longer term solution is investing and inventing the more secure internet called quantum networks

I already knew cars could be hacked but I did not know it could be done remotely and have that much function control.

this internet of things concept is a good idea but really vulnerable to hacking at the moment

What a brilliant idea. As if there weren't enough distractions on the road already.

I didn't know this! That is so scary! Wow .____.

More and more cars seem to becoming less mechanical and more run on computer systems. I'm not sure how good this is considering how fragile cyber security can be. However, I'm sure there must be many advantages to computer run cars especially when determining problem areas of the cars.
I do know personally that replacing the computer system in your car after it dies ranges in the thousands.

Eh, the future is so complicated....
