Decided to watch this near the end of the season since Reddit was talking about it so much. I must say I was disappointed. Never got into the story, everything was OK. The best part of this series is the animation quality.

Watched this due to it being recommended a lot on Reddit. The MC is pretty garbage, pretty much earned the series only a 6 single-handedly. Only half of the arcs were good, the other half were annoying. I did quite like the format, with a few episodes dedicated to each girl. It felt much more like a VN. Ending was sub-par.

Amazing. According to everyone, this show had even more potential. First off, the OP/ED are excellent all the way through. This show is very easy to watch through the first parts and then just whacks you with a killer ending. It is a great moment when you realize what "My heart, your beats!" means, a phrase that is shown in the opening sequence. This series really deserves an afterstory.

Very fun to watch. Reminded me a lot of Nagi no Asukara, though the atmosphere wasn't quite as strong and it was about half the length.

EDIT: Over time, my opinion of this has gone down. After the fun wears off, what's left isn't pretty.

Was recommended by MAL based on AnoHana. It was enjoyable to watch, but seemed very cookie cutter. Also some characters were half baked. Cliche yet fun to watch.

A nice fluffy shoujo anime. Only gripe is the ending - a little bit more resolution would have been nice.

Decided to watch this after seeing a classmate's desktop background. The setting wasn't too great, but it was atleast watchable for the most part. But A1 really made this one difficult to finish.

Absolutely outstanding. This is an anime that I constantly find myself thinking back on. The style is so pure, it is hard not to love. I now understand the mantra "Senjougahara best girl" and wholeheartedly agree. This series is hilarious and completely entertaining. The worst part is the fanservice - there is too much for my liking. But I can overlook to some extent since the rest of it is so outstanding.

My second anime. I started this because I had seen a post about it on Reddit a few months prior. I really didn't know what it was about. However I ended up loving it. During this series I switched back and forth between dub and sub, and when I realized just how different the dubs were and how much better the VA for Usagi sounded in the original, I couldn't go back to dubbed. Have been watching subbed ever since.

A good follow up to the first season of Sailor Moon.

Yet another solid season of Sailor Moon. Uranus and Neptune are very awesome.

The best season of Sailor Moon. Chibi Moon turning into not a brat was really good to see, plus this season features the best transformation sequences. Also some of the best ED's.

Many people didn't like the switch in OP for this season. However I absolutely love the OP for Sailor Stars. This is very close to SuperS, the entire Mamoru situation was incredibly well done.

I watched non filler episodes apart from Bount arc. Also I skimmed second half because it was becoming unbearable. So I have adjusted episodes watched accordingly.

Things it does wrong: too slow, bad motive for protagonist, awful dialogue, repetitive bad landscapes, many bad fight scenes.
Good:

This movie is heartbreaking, yet wonderful. At the end of the movie, the only words I could think were, "That's just the way things are sometimes". Absolutely recommended - just, don't watch after a breakup. You probably won't be able to interact with others for a week.

I liked Kanada's character a lot. But this is Yuri and therefore not something I am happy to say I have watched.

Definitely an improvement over Clannad. I really like that this anime went where not many others I have seen have - marriage and beyond. What really stopped this series from being a 10 was the ending. To me, it made no sense. After a main character died, they just come back? Perhaps I missed something important, but it struck me as a weak ending. Also, it was not fun seeing Tomoya become such a bad dad.

Overhyped. The first half was definitely better than the second half. The ending was dissappointing, I would have much rather seen Light dominate the world and finally realize what a mistake his life had been.

Incredibly well done. Everything about this animie screems polish. Does not receive a 10 because the story isn't quite my thing, and the whole thing is a little too dark.

A continuation of Fate/Zero, I only gave this one an 8 because I got tired of some of the characters at this point in the overall story.

I loved everything about this. I couldn't follow what was going on some of the time, but that's my own fault.

My first anime. This is the only series I have watched dubbed. Great starter series.

This is without a doubt better than the '03 adaptation. I like the artstyle better, and the story is much more massive in scale. The ending is much preferred, as well. I do not give this a 10 probably because many of the surprises were already known to me since I had seen the '03 series. I probably just watched this wrong. Watched another way, I can see myself rating this a 10.

This series is outstanding. I put it a notch above Toradora. Many people dislike Koko but I thought she was wonderful. Also I was not bothered by the whole amnesia thing, I'm not sure why people are. Impossible for me to rate lower than 10. Despite some loose ends (due to ongoing manga I think) and a few unlikeable parts (beginning-mid Chimera Ant arc), this show had some of the most amazing moments I have ever experienced in anime. One thing that I love about this show is how many of the characters I love. Also, the atmosphere - particularly during the first and last arcs - is a wonderful one that I wish more anime held true to.

Many people say they don't like this. I think it is brilliant. It is an artistic and unique thing, really showing what is possible with animation. Very humorous.

This was my first divergence from longer, more battely anime. First romance/shoujo, not including Sailor Moon which I pretty much treat as a special case. I absolutely loved this when I first wathced it. Rewatching it, I recognize there are much better. Misaka is pretty cool, though. One of the best parts of this series was its humor.

Stupendous. The writing was awesome, the designs for the 12 swords was awesome, I loved how they did things in very unique ways, such as only describing the most hyped up fight in the first half with the narrator. I really didn't care for Togame, but she wasn't too bad and Shichika easily offset her. The ending wasn't as incredible as everyone says, meaning it didn't leave me speechless, but I thought it was perfect and ended the story very well. I loved the encounter with Shikizaki in episode 11; it was the perfect way for ManiWani to go out. Also, the music and art for this were outstanding, and complimented NisioIsin's work very very well. Hooray.

Somehow the switching genders thing was appealing. But that was about it. Crap ending.

An excellent story. I watched this early on in my experience with anime since the manga inspired much of Dark Souls, my favorite game of all time. It is too bad such a small part of the manga is covered by the anime.

So good. I could rewatch this several times and not get tired of it. It is incredibly funny, cool, and awe-inspiring all at once. Some people complain at fanservice - the way I watched it, I don't see it as fanservice. When I watch it, the nudity nearly always feels artistic. It helps that it is an integral part of the story. The cartoony feel of the art also contributes to this.

At first the whole 'weird things happen to us for no reason' thing seemed cool, but it got old and tired really quickly. It's too bad, since best girl Inaba is truly fantastic.

It is hard for me to rate movies that are this well animated lower than a 9. The art was wonderful, and the story was very nice too. A very pleasent experience.

I don't get what all the hype is about on this one. Perhaps this type of movie just isn't my thing, or I had a hard time keeping up with the subtitles. Anyway, I seem to remember the ending being lacklustre.

I watched this after being recommended it. I cannot say I enjoyed it. It felt very, very rushed - they tried fitting way way too much into twelve episodes and ended up leaving loose ends all over the place. Many important parts were left unresolved or unexplained. It practically screamed, "We made every decision based on what would look and sound cool and ignored whether it would benefit the plot". In addition to all its flaws, I was not totally invested in the theme or storyline. The animation was hit or miss. While the OP and ED were pretty good, the ED especially felt very out of place at the end of some episodes. The one good thing about the series was the high quality art. Other than that I can't find much here to recommend.

This was superb. Enjoyable the whole way through. The first half of the series was very dark, there was a looming sense of despair. But the ending was very well done.

More unique, interesting Shaft animation. This probably deserves a 10 but I couldn't follow the story well enough to understand all of what was going on.

The animation was fabulous. Only thing was the story. It wanted another few hours to fully realize the story.

My favorite anime of all time. I love the sea, so the setting was perfect to me. The time skip halfway through was absolutely incredible, especially seeing Chisaki's reaction to it all. I think I cried more while watching this anime than any others I have watched.

Note: Favorite anime has moved to Hunter X Hunter, and upon rewatch, I believe that if I had not seen this and watched it for the first time now, it would not get a 10 but a 9. It is a little, tiny bit slow in a few few places. But I keep it at a 10 because of what it means to me. It was one of the first shows I watched, the first to be of the quality it is. So it deserves it for that.

More monogatari goodness. Heavier on the fanservice than usual, which, as always, is my only reservation in recommending this series to others.

This is a very funny anime. Wonderful humor. I think my favorite things about this anime were Yuuko's daydreams about Mio's wooden hair ornaments and Hakase and Sakamoto's antics.

Monogatari has incredible OP's and ED's. Nisemonogatari has the best one I have seen so far, the OP for Tsukihi. Toothbrush scene was over the top, but it was so with the style that it just seemed to fit.

I hate that I have to give this a 6 since the whole thing is so well done. But it's practically softcore pornography.

Probably the best anime I have seen at what it does. I love all of the characters and the setting. Nothing spectacular, but quite likable.

I truly do not understand the praise that this series gets. I thought the art was somewhat poor. Nothing was really that exciting. Seemed incredibly meh.

This one sure is fun while you watch it but when it's all over you feel like a piece of crap. I do not recommend going down this rabbit hole.

Magnificent. Does so many things right. Does essentially everything right. Right between a 9 and a 10. Incredibly enjoyable, made me realize how much I like music anime.

It was actiony, and that was really it's main strength. The scene where Eren saved his two friends by becoming a half-titan was very good, the female titan part was easy to see through and drawn out for far too long, Levi was neat. But the story just didn't really hold together in retrospect.

The ending was absolutely awful. The phrase I kept repeating to myself after finishing was - "There was so much potential. And it was wasted."

Story is 10 worthy. Execution was not. A-1 again proving to produce exceptionally average results when it comes to flow and animation. The unique theme and atmosphere saved this show.

This was a strange one. It made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions, with some well placed lines, facial expressions, and situations. Furthermore, I liked the busy office setting it offered. However, the story dragged like none other, I felt little motivation surrounding the main 5 girls, many subplots felt tacked on, and a lot of pieces felt generic. For all of the parts I loved (censored references, cowboy scene) as a whole it felt like a drag and was hard to watch. I can't say I understand this series' popularity.

Must watch. This is the first series I rewatched, and I did pick up on a bit more. The last 5 or 6 episodes are absolutely stellar, and the OP/ED are top notch. Probably not possible to hit higher than an 8 based on what it is... as a sequel it does everything it should. 10/10 sequel which translates to 8/10 overall.

Stellar OP. I watched this incorrectly. The only correct way to watch this is in broadcast order, without 2009 in there. I did everything chronologically, all together. Really screwed up the pacing and ending.

Don't bother watching 2009 - just watch original in broadcast order.

Really died after episode 8 (no pun intended), didn't pick up again until around 20. The badassery was cool, however there were a lot of issues. While not as extravogant, I consider Kill la Kill a better done anime in this genre. Also, poor Yoko.

It was fine. MC is very likable. Plot is a little lackluster, but overall the story was good.

My score is really harsh because I read the manga first and the anime doesn't live up to it. The presentation of Jason was very different, and in my opinion gave the anime the wrong tone. Also, I somewhat disliked that two volumes were out of order. The whole thing didn't feel dark enough, it felt too generic. I will be avoiding Root A for my own sake.

It's great. The art is OK, what really takes this above and beyond is the characters and interactions between them. Ami is best girl, though I still don't understand half of what she says. Kitamura is hilarious. When you find out Minorin's struggle it is really sad.

Very, very nice. Gets all the basics right, lots of shows don't. Absolutely wonderful story. Sad but worth it. MC is very good, which makes the whole series very enjoyable.

Just another romantic comedy. I was glad they didn't try to push too much 'romance' with the main characters, it really didn't fit so I'm glad they stayed away from it. Some scenes made me laugh pretty hard. The trap was nice. Still, just another romantic comedy.

I have no idea how to rate this. It was absolutely brilliant at times, with some amazing characters and hilarious moments. Buy... I didn't follow what was being talked about in several scenes. It was too vague. It forced me to make assumptions that I couldn't make, and never confirmed or denied those assumptions later on. Not to mention that some conversations turned into about as much mush as the one (hilariously) satired in episode 6. Perhaps the most unfortunate part of this was 8man's breakdown, which seemed like the biggest part of the show, when he said he 'wanted the real thing'. It left next to no impact on me, because I didn't really know what he was talking about, and the inner monologue leading up to it didn't explain it whatsoever. Perhaps it was a subtitle issue. Overall I loved it, but... I really don't know what the hell was going on.
