Synopsis

When a humble merchant named Banaza is summoned to the magical kingdom of Klyrode in another world, the citizens hope he will become the hero who can take down the threatening Dark Army. Unfortunately, Banaza does not gain any exceptional powers at level one as hero candidates usually do, and he has no way of returning to his old world. As compensation, he is sent to live in a faraway forest. Upon arriving, Banaza levels up once and suddenly gains limitless powers that he now has no idea what to do with.

To avoid drawing attention, Banaza changes his appearance and assumes the name Flio. While away from home, he stumbles across a young demi-human girl named Fenrys, who is seemingly searching for the same forest Flio was sent to. However, she attacks him and reveals her true identity—a lupine demon. Luckily, Filo's unrivaled magic overpowers Fenrys, and she swears undying loyalty to him. However, Flio refuses to hold power over her; the two instead begin pretending to be a married couple and embark on a new life together.

If you enjoy the Isekai genre but dislike the stereotypical aspects, this one may be for you. Instead of Earth to a fantasy world, the main character goes from one fantasy world to another. There is no real harem (one love interest between mc), almost no explicitly ecchi fanservice, and although the mc is overpowered, it doesn't keep him from being too bland.

This anime is generally wholesome, but there may be some dark aspects to it, but for this season, only one episode got dark, if this gets another season, there'd definitely be another.

If you liked the source material, then this is a ...

Mixed Feelings
A combination of an average isekai with a mediocre harem story that, unfortunately, doesn’t bring anything new to the genre. The main character, a typical OP protagonist, is yet another copy of characters from similar series — lacking uniqueness and charisma to truly capture the viewer’s attention. The storyline is also unimpressive, relying on overused tropes we’ve seen countless times before. While the title has a few positives, they aren’t strong enough to save the overall experience.
The most notable advantages are, unfortunately, the waifus, who, while attractively designed, lack distinctive personalities, and the fallen hero character. The latter has the potential to add depth and ...

The most average anime. Not laughably terrible, but flirting with that line. Underwhelming voice acting, check. Lifeless story and characters, check. Inoffensive at best animation, check. The word passable was whispered over the pacing of this anime, check.

Like what more do you want me to say? There were no giant plot holes, leaps forwards in character arcs out of nowhere, or any horrendous animation. Just, meh.

It be isekai with tiny twist. As if someone whispered "unique" in a jar and then smashed that jar on the ground. Just the slightest whiff of unique remains three days later. It's the typical isekai.... but tHiS ...
