Strike the Blood Final

Ok, so after all that wait, the real question is.....is it the Finale or another one is in the works by studio "Connect?" So, without anymore shit, let's get down to brass tax:

Story-Poor 3: It may have been the usual Vampire , supernatural , sci-fi, Hamre, school , ecchi and action genre, but given that this is the finale, it wasn't much of thing at all in fact the plot was just too anticlimactic...given that the ones were expecting to fight alone the protagonist turns out to be the ones who would be the protagonist's foe to which in the end all was forgiven...like ... nothing has happened....

Art- Good 7: All that fanservices around as usual was this OVA's selling point, and that's how this OVA's cookie crumble.

Sound-Mediocre 5: I hate both opening and closing, the seiyuu's were too old to even be voicing teen ager and aside from that everything else were just the usual.

Characters-Pathetic 1: With all that harem keep piling up, it was at most cases one like me can't keep up as to who is who, but if you think that was worse , well the main protagonist Kojou was just as pathetic as his harem , given that he up to now hasn't bang any of his harem members.

Enjoyment- Fair 6: Honestly , if one were to watch all of the STB from season one to all of it's special and OVA, you'll only be interested with the fan services, nothing more ns nothing less.

Overall-Pathetic 1: Don't even ask, cu'z frankly I really hated this sequel as a whole, also as one watches this anime with all that harem, one would find it difficult to keep up......Spoiler, as it turns out there was another 4 episode ONA of this anime and it the real finale, given that it wasn't in MAL's data base, I would suggest that you watch it yourself, cu'z honest it was that other 4 episode that has change my mind about this anime as a whole, so from a low score of 1 I now say that this anime is a "Recommend."

Well, here we are after sixty episodes, the end of Strike the Blood. And creating a fifth season consisting of only four episodes, adapting the final volume, feels like a production decision more than anything else rather than actual story decisions because it should’ve been attached to Season 4. It was always going to be an uphill battle after the fourth season was way more baffling than anything. And this final season is similar, but this time, we have more of an annoying villain whose motives are unclear, other than the fact he is an evil dude, and for some reason, we get a space ... colony ship and apparently alien dragons. I mean, the villain literally asks, “why are you hindering me?”... because you’re a bad guy with bad goals and are a clear narcissist so it’s obvious that people would stand up to you. In terms of the ending, it’s a happy ending but it’s also way too ambiguous, leaving the door open for future battles and not even getting the harem together, Kojou still hasn’t realized how many girls love him even at the end. As a conclusion to a long running series, it’s pretty underwhelming and leaves too much on the table to be in any way a satisfactory ending.

Strike The Blood Final (OVA):
A light novel series made by: Gakuto Mikumo, started back in 2011 (till 2023).
Summary: A human/vampire type MC makes his way to become the Lord, by building his own harem.

Narrative: In total of this 4 Episodes, it continued back from Strike The Blood IV where Kojou Encountered the Chief of MRA organisation. As of this point, we've seen our MC Kojou here, sucked nearly all of the supporting/main casting girls already, so all it's left is to use them for the finale. He also used up all of the familiars that we've seen all this time, even if Kojou we're ... to go out of control, it'll still be predicted that he'll return (especially his "death scene"). You can tell that the romance/relationship between Kojou and Yukina is definitely top tier, just that they dragged it all the way to the Finals and never even confessed. A Cliff hanger I suppose.

Cinematography: Art style is still the same artist all the way back from Strike the Blood I. It's good to see the artist remained, however it would look bad for a 2022 OVA. It's also good to know they remained tonnes of the posses and camera angle from Season 1 (especially Yukina's Ult and the "No Senpai. This is OUR Fight!" Voiceline as the final part).

Characters and Settings: Character design wise, they look quite the unique ones (especially Kasugaya Shizuri). Each character have their own backstories and unique background connecting to the MC's storyboard, which matched well when it comes to harem animes. Settings is of course a fictional location 300KM away from Tokyo

Audio Editing: Have been the same from Strike the Blood IV, not much complaints are done here.

Positive and Negative feelings:
Personally, I really enjoyed the series alot even tho some of the parts are just straight up ecchi stuff with the main character, it definitely showed the bond and the relationship between the MC and the supporting/female side characters. (I have yet to read finish the Manga and Light Novel Ver. Sooooooo I might be quite wrong here)

Despite having those characters there's some negativity I would like to talk about, dragging so long all the way to a FINAL OVA and just stop at a Cliff Hanger is somewhat insane. There are couple of other animes that have long series like this (for example: Date A Live) that did a better job in continuing the storyline in anime instead of stopping it's service and leave fans from anime hanging.

Memorable Moment: The only memorable moment I can think of out from this OVA is litterally the ending between Kojou and Yukina (as a final goodbye to the anime series and it's service).

Rating: 6/10, i tried my best on this one. Like litterally.
