86 Part 2

The disappearance of the Spearhead Squadron beyond the horizon does little to hide the intensity of the Republic of San Magnolia's endless propaganda. Vladilena Milizé continues to operate as "Handler One," the commander of yet another dehumanized 86th faction's squadron in the continuous war against the Legion.

On the Western Front, Shinei Nouzen and his squad are quarantined in a military base controlled by the Federal Republic of Giad, formerly known as the Giadian Empire. The newly-established government grants the saved Eighty-Six full citizenship and freedom. Housed by the president Ernst Zimmerman himself, the group meets his adoptive daughter and the last Empress, Augusta Frederica Adel-Adler.

However, within the calm of this tender society, Shinei and his team feel that their purpose is on the battlefield. Before long, they are once again in the midst of the Legion's onslaught as a part of the Federacy's Nordlicht Squadron, accompanied by Augusta Frederica. But, as history repeats itself, they realize that no matter the side, death and pain on the front lines are the only comfort they know.

Never in my life would i have thought that I would see all that I wanted in a series in one only, words cannot simply describe the feelings that I have felt throughout the episodes. It is incredible just sensing how much the messages from this anime are getting to you, it is just a masterpiece.

86 is one hell of a watch, because if it is not clear to you yet, you will cry your eyes out, you will feel every word it wants to say to you. The story is simply incredible, just presenting us what racism is about, what do people that get ... abused by it truly feel. It is not the only message, it shows us that in this life we cannot be alone and even if we are we will not stand for long, it shows us what goals are about and how important it is to update them after we complete them and don't get stuck up to our past.

Drama, death, trauma, struggle, love, loyalty, those are the elements of 86 combined with the breathtaking animations and effects will make anyone fall in love with this anime, the way the story is expanding and continuing will make you want more and more, but at the same time wanting it to end seeing what happens.

Most of the characters share the same past, in this way it is just pure pleasure seeing them getting the right treatment. My only and little complaint are that the MC got too much attention at some episodes, at least more than he needed and that other important to the story characters were not shown for many episodes, but that can be explained for making the show more interesting by not revealing some things. It is easy to fall in love with the characters, with them showing so many feelings.

86 is one of those series that wish they were longer with more episodes but deep down you know that the amount of episodes and how the story played out in that number of them is just perfect. It has no flaws, it is truly was on the greatest anime ever produced. I can feel what the characters are feeling, this alone is one good reason for giving this anime a try, it will not disappoint.

I don't why people hate on this anime, but this is comfortably a 10, people are playing with the word "masterpiece" too much nowadays.

Mixed Feelings

This season was disappointing asides from a few scenes , the first season was beautifully setting up and it was just a let down. Just occasional screams from the male MC to evoke emotions in a cheap way, rushed hasty animated scenes, I felt completely lost at some times at what was going on in the show as well. Characters also were interesting and good the first season but this season made me hate pretty much all the characters. Snobby. Uninteresting. Forgettable. 3 words to describe them.

Milizé, Vladilena was one if not only the rememberable/nice characters in "86" but they barely included her in this ... season, instead she is replaced by a loud little girl that has no reason to be there but just nag along. There is a reason I never heard or even remember this show the year / season it came out. Disappointing.

Is it worth watching an entire season just for the last 2 episodes to be good?
No.
Consider Part 1 the ending. Go do something else.

As well as the last scene is, and as anticipated as the reveal was, I do not consider it worth watching the whole show just for it. Maybe somebody could make an abridged version that leaves out the boss fight arc, and that'll make it better to watch and less dragged out. We don't learn much more about the characters, and they stop becoming interesting as soon as the focus is turned away from the survival aspect.
