86 is basically a copy of Code Geass Boukoku no Akito: of course, they changed a few things but still have the same taste and feels alike, the same cliche of a Japanese male that goes mad rampage inside a robotic unit and the same main female heroine in the military with similar rank and attitude, Vladilena Milizena (Lena in short) is a copy-paste of Lila Malcal, are a few differences of course but is the same plot in essence just fighting a different enemy, but the main characters are the same with names changed, they just changed how the Japanese are called from Elevens

86 Part 2 is probably even more blatant of a copy of the Code Geass Akito movies than Part 1, as both feature a group of people expelled from their country due to racism (Japanese/non-albas) working under a new goverment as their millitary frontline (EU/Giad), said group of people being refered to by a number (11/86), with a female main character who's a young and naive but still experienced squad leader (Leila/Lena) and a stoic male main character who's an expert mecha pilot who has issues with his brother and can hear the voices of the dead (Akito/Shin), and of course the mechas in question
