Synopsis

A decade ago, a tragic shipwreck separated Fena Houtman from her childhood friend Yukimaru and took her father's life. Now, at age 23, she is trapped on an island and is doomed to spend the rest of her life selling herself to men. On the night she is to be forcibly wed to a client, Fena hatches a plan to escape from her employers, but two old acquaintances unexpectedly intervene and help her run away.

The three make haste for the open sea and land upon Goblin Island—a mysterious place that a clan of fierce warriors call home. It is there that Fena learns that her father's ill-fated final journey at sea was in search of a place called "Eden," the location of something important that he had to protect. With nothing but a clear crystal as a clue, Fena is tasked with finding this place, as she is the only person who can do so.

While still contemplating the search for what her father left behind, Fena reunites with Yukimaru, who encourages her to take up the quest. Now the captain of a seven-person crew, Fena must navigate the high seas in search of Eden. But as uncanny groups begin to target her, the perilous journey proves to be even more challenging than it previously seemed.

Honestly, Crunchyroll took their time developing this show because I am honestly hooked and only 4 episodes have aired right now.

As an anime watcher, it takes a lot for me to be invested in a show because I tend to get bored very quickly and I don't really watch any of the most popular anime right now because I tend to look for good ones that people do not really give any recognition.

Fena is not only a beauty but she is determined and courageous to find out why her father left the stone to her since she may come from royalty but since read more

Yes it's "Pirate Princess" , Kaizoku Oujo, oh wait, Kaizoku....Hmm. Kaizoku....Oh, ore wa kaizoku oni na ru.. wait...No it's not One Piece. Believe me. It's not One Piece.

I always get hooked with Pirate stories but this one is really intriguing on its own.

It created a deep curiosity within me, why? because it's a pirate story? No, but to be honest it just hooked me.

The story, the art and even the soundtrack. Like wow, it's definitely amazing and worth watching.

Of course, pirates, yes, it involves treasure and we get that at Kaizoku Oujo. The way they ooze of mystery and how they'll be read more

This feels like a Disney Anime, and I mean that in the best way possible reminding me of movies like Atlantis.

The main character is loveable but borders on being annoying which in turn leads to some funny interactions with the other characters turning an iffy trait into an enjoyable one.

The one thing this anime does better than most is how it handles the characters. Within a few episodes they introduce a large number of characters but are able to make each one feel special and loveable without slowing down the pace of the story which is surprisingly fast.

The storyline would probably be the nadir of read more

This anime is a gem and it is definitely underrated. The artwork is breathtaking, all the characters look very pretty and it's a joy watching them. So far I've enjoyed the story and every single episode left me wanting for more.
The story is interesting and I'm very curious where it will go. Fena, the main character is quite likeable and sweet. However, I do feel that the story is moving a bit too fast and there isn't enough time to learn more about all the characters and have a proper development or at least learn more about their backstories. That could make people care read more
