Assassins Pride

This is by far the worst anime series I have ever seen, but it very far from being the least enjoyable!

Let's start out with the good. The story isn't awful, and if everything else was better than you might be able to watch an anime with this story and enjoy it because it was actually decent. There were some fun mysteries too, one moment that actually made me feel something other than amusement, and the music and artwork are average.

The bad: everything else. THIS SHOW IS SO BAD!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I think mother's basement's review on youtube sums up what I feel about this ... series. It had me rolling in laughter, not because it makes funny jokes but because there were just some super cliche and stupid moments. The characters are stupid and bad, their interactions are hilariously awful, there is no development anywhere, the story goes a mile a minute and it's hard to keep track of, there's just so much wrong with this show. I would recommend watching this this with a friend or someone you like so you can make fun of it together! Overall, even though this show is really bad, I still kinda can't help but love it.

I have mixed feelings about this show. I really do. While I do admit, it got better as it went along, after what I felt was a bit of a lackluster first episode. Even took me up till now to get back into it, and at first, I wasn't looking forward to it. But again, it did get better as it went on. Not by much, but it did improve in areas.

The trouble for me was the pacing of the show, and a few of the characters for me aren't great at all. I even disliked the main guy at first, as I'm not really ... a fan of the super op characters. While it's lowered a bit, I'm still hovering over the 'eh' in terms of how I feel about him. As for other characters? Some are alright, some are ok, some I really don't give a fuss about to be perfectly honest.

As for the world and story? It's interesting, which does keep the want to see more there at least. The premise of it is what does it for me. With the whole going against a mission you were given, in order to protect someone after you were moved. It's nice. I do want to see Melida grow and over come her obstacles honestly. Hope she does as the story goes on.

Should you give it a shot? Sure. It's not borderline trash, and again, does have a great premise about it. So if you're into that, then this is the anime for you.

Let's get this right : this anime is an insult to its viewers intelligence, and whoever made this is either an idiot, a money-craving scumbag, or both.
My money on the latter.
For starters, maybe you should better explain (or explain at-all) why the so-called assassin spares the little girl. After 12 episodes, I've still no idea. If it's because of love, then the very stoic protagonist should at the very least getting a bit emotional for us to understand that. If it's because of his dubious line of work, and doubts about his mission, then at least we should learn why this cause such ... a dilemna for him to abandon his mission. Forget that ! With just an incredible stupid catchphrase about his pride, his assassin pride (because, why, of course), that's it.
Save the girl, save the world etc ...
I think that monologue was there just to justify the need of an assassin in its story (hence, the title).
And expect the best when you will heard his full name. That's the best naming sense for this year.
At the very least arifureta was trying to accomplish *something* and was sufficiently coherent to try so.
But even the art is talentless, in this anime : for some reason (maybe the animators were in energy-saving mode), there's just no background sometimes behind the characters. Nothing. Maybe it's the illustration of a never-ending night, you see, but I think that's way too clever for the team behind this anime to have thought about it.
Now... if i were to give some praise, that will start with the good pacing of the anime : along the lines, this anime was rhythmed good enough to not crush every expectations in the very first episodes. It's a process - you see - your expectations are going to get crushed, that's for sure but ... slowly.
And another good point is the information release for the scenario : with a good pacing comes a way to maintain a seemingly suspense, good enough here to maintain the very stubborn viewers interest.
But actually, in all honestly, I will recommend NOT SEEING this anime at all.
Find yourself something better to do. That's going to be easy, trust me.

This anime makes me feel incredibly sad cuz it could actually have been pretty good, the ideas are all there, but they fail miserably on the delivery.

Every single character either loves or eventually adores the main 2, no matter what, in fact, even the characters that feel more antagonistic eventually get charmed, this is so serious that after the first time it happens you just know what you're in for.

The "villains" and overall antagonists cannot be sided with on a sane mind, they are so 1 dimensional that they feel like "bad for the sake of being bad".

The animation is pretty good (at least the ... creative direction is on point) but it falls flat on its face a lot, the girls outfits feel straight out of an ecchi when they really should not, and the MC outfit is so boring it makes me think about kirito (haha sao bad laugh now), it is a shame though, cuz everything else looks decent, not that's much to that "else" but from backgrounds to minor and even background characters the essence IS THERE.

But the worst part about this anime is the sexual undertones, i say this with all honesty, this feels like an Hentai where they cut out all lewd scenes and only left in the "plot" and some slightly more "iffy" scenes, this is legitimately the best summary of the anime in my opinion, Hentai without the lewd.
Every girl is flat and the ones who aren't get boob jokes, there are plenty of feet scenes, and all of the "romance" feels forced as hell, the writing room had no female on it cuz this is just not how women (and especially young girls) act, and i don't mean this in some creepy way or anything, legitimately no women ever, dead or alive has ever been this mindlessly ephatuated for someone as the main girl was for the MC and everyone else was for the main girl.

Also, pretty minor point but there are too many women and too little men (plus the little men that exist are either "evil" or "not good guys" in some way, only the oh so perfect MC-kun is pure of heart, this only adds to the whole hentai atmosphere i talked about before.

Overall i really don't recommend this anime, and if you want to watch it, watch it with friends and make fun of it or play a game where you guess the next line (trust me the plot is so basic you can guess lines with 80% accuracy)

4/10 will only watch again if i wanna copy background ideas

then part i don't like probably almost the half setting and they try so hard to want lolis to shine but when in reality they're all kids everyone almost no interesting background just a rich kids and too bad they're main focus of story. protagonist might be interesting but he's complete sub character and no romance, no slice of life and every episode feel less reason to keep watching only art quality and watch heroine struggle more with no point she's not gonna prove herself soon since there is a promotional LN anime think of that way. no way this anime gonna give good conclusion

this is my favorite bad anime because it never bothers to pretend like it ever had any potential that was squandered by its execution, no hidden potential that could have been drawn out of it, no vision butchered beyond recognition. its badness is not jarring because it is consistently always bad, so much so that any moment of quality would have ruined the perfect harmony. the pacing is consistently strange but you wont find yourself slacking through it, because every episode is jampacked with fresh nonsense and if proper setup and execution requires any boring downtime whatsoever it has been cut in favor of a ... smooth ride. like those boat rides in a theme park. there will always be something ridiculous to point out, and you wont be going long between them. the characters are so far removed from acting like real people would that the uncanny valley is a foreign concept to them, which makes their fantastically ridiculous actions seem consistent and sensible. it creates its own beautiful juxtapositions, so instead of its inventive and evocative worldbuilding seeming completely wasted on this run-of-the-mill underage harem magic girl combat school story, it instead serves to highlight the run-of-the-mill underage harem magic girl combat school tropes. sometimes you can just feel the tropes thrown into this beautiful mess of a show, as if they had to find a place for everything on their ingredient list, and so nothing ever feels out of place. this is truly the culmination of everything that is going wrong with anime, nicely wrapped up for you to enjoy.

and it is very enjoyable.

I liked this anime for the art and sound. When I was watching the anime, I was quite hyped about it because the opening was catchy with beautiful visuals, and let's not forget the good-looking Kufa as well.

I'm writing this review now a few months after I finished watching it, and I have to say that they hype only lasts a while. Art and sound can only go so far, because story-wise, I wasn't as impressed. I think anyone could've made the plot more interesting. The whole plot is quite easy to predict, and sometimes, the plot you imagine might be better than how ... the actual story goes.

I'm giving the characters a score of 6 though and not an 8 because I kept on getting annoyed about was how the Melida's hairstyle reminded me of sailor moon. No matter how good the characters look, if they reminded me of another character, then I'm already thinking about something else and not focusing on the anime. But I ended up finishing this anime because I kept on craving good art and catchy music haha.

If you're looking for a short anime that has cute romance, good art, and basically anything to satisfy you for the moment, then you should watch this anime.

Have you ever watched an anime where you didn’t too highly of it but had no incentive to drop it? Bit of a specific question but that is exactly how I felt watching this show. A show that seemed very intriguing at the time with a premise and world that looked very interesting. But it never did feel like it would take a step forward into the good territory. Why is that? Well I’ll tell you.

Sit back, relax and….um….s**t. I got nothing to segway into this. Um….I present to you the anime review for Assassins Pride. Lets begin I guess…


Story: 2/10

In this world, ... humanity is nearly brought to the brink of extinction as the world is surrounded by darkness and beings known Lacanthropes roam the world. Because of this, humanity now resides in the capital city of Flandore where the gap between nobles and the common folk is large due to nobles having access to magic known as mana to fight back against the Lacanthropes. One noble girl, Meldia Angel, can’t access her mana and is shunned by the people around her. But one day, she is assigned to a tutor by the name of Kufa Vampir (yeah, you are being real subtle with the names there aren’t you?) who has been sent to help unlock her mana. If she can’t, then he must assassinate her.

It’s a rather cool premise to start your show off, even if it does take a page out of Attack on Titan’s book. But the show falls flat in its first couple of episodes and had some severe pacing issues. It kept rushing out key information, plot lines and character resolutions. It never gave them time to develop which does lead to my biggest gripe with the show but I will get to that. Even the part about Kufa assassinating Melida gets resolved by the end of episode one so it never had time to develop. Then comes another problem with the story arcs feeling completely disjointed from one another and have no solid connections. It’s normally one story arc to the next in quick succession. There is little foundation for one arc to build from the previous one and anything it builds like a solid threat is thrown away for the next arc. This further adds to the pacing issues this show has.

But if there is one thing I want to criticize and it is the biggest problem with this show and that is its world building. It does a very poor job of establishing this world, the society humanity lives and the dangers that it brings. What is mana? Why is it only nobles can use it? What are the Lacanthropes? How did they overrun the world? What is the deal with the city of Flandore? These are legitimate questions that are not explained or even hinted at. Ironically, like the world itself, we are kept in the dark as to what these things mean. With an intriguing premise, it’s a shame that it never gets developed and we are left in the cold as to what these things mean.


Characters: 3/10

Lets start with my favourite character of the show, Melida. Melida is the kind of character you want to root for. She has all of the traits to make a good fighter against the Lacanthropes. She has the will, courage and heart to protect those around her while not being stupid enough to know her limits. She just lacks the mana to do so from the beginning so that the show wants to tell you she clearly deserves it unlike other characters like token bully character, Nerva Martillo. She can take matters into her own hands quite well while also knowing that she can rely on others to help her out, preaching the message that working together can lead to great results.

So I like Meldia as a character, but I can’t say the same for the rest of the cast, especially for our other main protagonist Kufa. Mainly because he has no personality. The show wants to make him a mysterious character hiding secrets from people and have a dark past but he comes across as dry and boring. I can’t get emotionally invested in him because he is that much of a bland character so I have no incentive to and any chemistry between Melida and Kufa is non-existent and feels forced. Not to mention how grossly overpowered he is and kills all tension that this show tries to produce.

Melida’s cousin, Elise, comes across as a shallow character and is mainly used a motivator for Melida since Elise is the complete opposite of her and despite being cousins, she wants Melida to treat her like her little sister (Yes we are going there). Same goes with Rosetti in being the opposite to Kufa, personality wise. But she is actually not boring and has life in her personality. It’s not much but she brings a bright spot to change the mood, but I wouldn’t say I cared for her much and her backstory is as clichéd as it gets. There is also no standout in the supporting cast either that can steal the spotlight or help support the main cast. They either come across as one note personalities, overdramatic or painfully obvious what their motivations are. The villains as well come across as uninteresting, villain of the week, kind of characters that feel disjointed from the overall story. Their significance is minimal to the story and are more of a nuisance than actual threats.


Animation: 7/10

The animation for this series is actually rather good. While it doesn’t exactly wow you, it does make the show’s action scenes more enjoyable to watch with how fast they can be. Same can be said about the show’s art style as well as it definitely does a good job of showcasing the world that our characters live in and getting immersed in the beauty of it. That being said, the character designs are on the more of the basic side. The show doesn’t do that good of a job of helping the characters stand out from one another. The exception to this is definitely Rosetti has she definitely has a design that stands out. But then you have someone like Kufa who looks like generic protagonist no. #1652 (or something like that). Even the Lacanthropes are more goofy looking than intimidating when we see them (Well, the non-articfical ones at least).


Sound: 8/10

Yeah, this show’s sound department is great around the board. It sounds great and this soundtrack is enjoyable to listen to. It definitely has a good track for any kind of scene, whether it would be emotional or intense. It does try to help get you immersed into what you are watching and adds to a scene whenever the story or characters doesn’t take you out of it.

The opening, “Share the light” by Run Girls, Run is a strange case in my eyes. Initially, I did not like this opening. I thought the rythem was out of sync with the visuals and it sounded too Kawaii for its own good. But the more I listened, the more I realised how unique the opening was trying to be. This could be a case of me getting used to the opening but I found myself enjoying the opening the more I listened to it. Definitely an interesting opening.

The ending though is more clear on how I feel about it. "Ijin-tachi no Jikan” by Meldia’s voice actress, Tomori Kusunoki, is calm and sweet which is the standard for anime ending sequences and doesn’t exactly impress with its visuals honestly. But it is serviceable.


Conclusion:

Assassins Pride is one of those shows where it didn’t impress me but I had no intention of dropping it. It can have its moments and there are some aspects of the show that it does good. It has good animation, good sound and a good female lead. But at the same time, its story is disjointed and poorly executed and its cast of characters besides Melida and maybe Rosetti are unimpressive. Yet I don’t hate it as much as I should. The show has its own charm that kept me watching but fails to engross me into its world and its characters. It’s the epitome of average, mediocre, unimpressive, whatever term you want to use. A show that would do you no harm in watching, but you probably wouldn’t recommend to people that this is a show that you should watch. And honestly, in a world where we consume new anime every three months, being mediocre is the worst fate for your show. As now, you will be forgotten in the annuals of history.

The story is pretty basic. A little too cliche for my preference. Even though anime is almost always fiction-based, the characters act even more unrealistic than is believable. The story writing is barely passable at best.

The assassin's last name is Vampir. Use your imagination. After all, apparently lycanthropes in this anime are skinny pumpkin heads that just so happen to all look exactly the same. Cookie cutter at it's best (worst?)

From the fanbase I hear the anime was changed. It's probably best to read the manga or ln instead. Too many details were said to be left out. Art is nice but mostly dark and ... gloomy. Op/Ed not bad. Characters are too unrealistic. Overall a mediocre 6/10 at best as an anime.

This anime if watched blindly doesn't make sense it skips around there is no prior explanation, no tying loose ends and just jumping like a poorly edited youtube video.

The anime doesn't hold anything of value in terms of the flow of story it kinda felt like that one friend that just wanted to show the fight scenes in a anime that he/she likes because they want to share the hype but without building the story it feels cheap and unmanaged garbage now the source material for this show is pretty good but the anime itself just falls apart the first episode skipped so much content ... that it is just disgusting then the rest is just taking the light novel make a bullet point of main story and just animate that.

The show just suffers from poor direction and story flow.

Was this Anime an absolute masterpiece? No.
Is it worth the watch? Yes.

Let me explain, Minor spoilers ahead:

The MC is a pretty likeable bad ass character with a shady backstory and early hints of a tragedy in his youth, the female cast are all unique in the own way and for the most part dont play into overall anime tropes.

The overall world building was left purposefully vague however you were given just enough information so that you wern't confused.

The problems come in when some things are quite poorly explained and this anime does suffer from some serious pacing issues, especially when ... less that half way through the series they have a Padding Episode that has no bearing on the actual overarching story as well as Zero character development however saying that the episode is hilarious and had me grinning the entire way through.

The anime does unfortunately leave you wondering "Whats the point" towards the end of it due to the main antagonists being a shadowy faceless group that wants to "expose" the girls parentage as to get her thrown out of the Nobility she is apart of, its never really explained why anyone really cares as its not even the girls family behind the plots but whatever, the other issue is its also never explained why these magical soldiers are needed and why the "Bad guy" mutant, werewolf, vampire things even exist.

If you can ignore these things it is definitely an enjoyable anime to watch, im told that the pacing is alot better in the Manga however this is a Second hand account as i myself have not read it and the time im writing this.

If a second season is ever announced i would definitely watch it.

The concept for Assassin's Pride had potential, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't particularly enjoy watching it and just generally thought it was bad. Production value aside (more on that later), the characters are weak, and the story is a mess. The only redeeming thing about this show is the occasional cute or funny moment.

I didn't find any of the cast to be interesting or engaging. The main characters are very lacking given their level of prominence. Each one has a specific narrative that defines their character (e.g., Melida the "incompetent talented girl": a talent by birth, but failure in ... practice), and the development that occurs as the story progresses does nothing besides reinforce these narratives. As a result, we have one-dimensional characters that travel very predictable paths. The character quality also extends to the relationships they form. None of which really add much depth to the story.

World building is another area that Assassin's Pride gets wrong. Core pieces of the world's lore, such as the current state of humanity, the city-state of Flandore, the caste system, and lycanthropes, are not explained in any depth (or at all, in some cases). As the show progresses, you'll forgot some of these elements were ever introduced given how unimportant they are to the events that take place. You could transpose the main events of the story into another world and it would barely make a difference.

There isn't much to say about the story. It consists of a few arcs that are largely self-contained. Rather than use each arc as a building block to construct the world's lore or a higher-level narrative, it felt more like they were just used as ephemeral platforms to launch specific character narratives to the next stage. As I was watching I found I kept wondering why an event was happening and how it related to previous and/or future events. The story does have some degree of continuity, but it usually feels more like aimless wandering.

The production value for this series was quite poor. The voice acting (Japanese) was decent. The art is generic, but otherwise decent. The animation is rather poor (simple and awkward). So much so that I would consciously notice how awkward it was while watching.

first time doing a review so i apologies if i made any mistakes

my opinion on this anime is that first there are to many girls characters, well can't blame it since it's an all-girls school, still i feel like there are not many teen boy except the kufa and the pink haired duke ( i don't know if the duke is young or not ) and the other male characters are either the father, melida's dad, and some guild members.

second, i quite enjoy this anime because i like the male lead tbh (XD lol). the sounds are ok, there are some bgm that scared ... me bcuz it's spooky but in my opinion it quite match the scene.

i don't really write a detailed review because i only write what i feel after watching the anime.

spoiler warning : i am really happy that melida's father finally speak to her but idk why or what is the reason that made him have to be cold in front of melida when she haven't got her mana

If this anime was taken care by another studio instead of EMT squared (a inexistence company that makes generic animes look bland.) it would have been better. I want to believe this show has potential but it seems like the animation company just dropped the show for their lack of commitment. If this company shows themselves on an interesting upcoming anime series, I doubt nobody will want to bat an eye for them.

The only good thing about this show that gave commitment were the singers. It's a shame that the opening and the ending is what carried throughout the series and it isn't something to ... be proud of for the company.

I am a sucker of romance and having vampir there whenever Melinda is in a pinch or she can't fight those who are expert fighters, he saves her from that. I just wish they made Melinda fight her battles to the point of near death experience to experience on how to fight expert fighters. Make her look independent instead of her relying on vampir everytime she gets in a pinch.

I feel it is a very controversial show. I did not expect much from the very beginning and the first episode seemed fine to me. Very nice CGI was there. Also, I have to say, the OP and ED of the show are amazing. But plotwise and characterwise it was awful. But I do not like to drop something after the first episode. Well, I do not drop anything after just first episode. And the second one was better by all means.
Unfortunately, after that, the series went to downfall. Little to no character development. The story ... did progress during a mini-arc, but it was unsatisfying nevertheless.
In the end, I expected it to be pointless and uninteresting anime and as I lowered my expectations, after watching 11 episodes I do not regret doing so. I actually quite like it.
The show totally deserves the rating it has. I, myself, would give it a 6, but I give 7/10 because at some moments I was pleased with it. I gave the chance to this anime and I want others to do so too.

I guess Assassin's Pride is a good enough example of anime being wasted potential. It's been nothing but a downward spiral toward the abyss. Well, it did catch my interest by the first episode, and I am a sucker for these underdogs kind of story, as I have said many times in the past. So I can't help being a bit open and positive to start off since in my case, it had all the ingredients to turn out a decent fantasy anime I could kill my time with. I mean its abundantly evident, AssPride is as cliche as you can get, but honestly, If ... there is entertainment to had, what points is there to be so brutally focused on such other useless things? But Instead, I was hit with disappointment which intensified as the episode went by. Thus It sadly ended up becoming a chore to watch this anime as a result, which was rushed to absolute oblivion, and the importance of context was thrown out of the window.

There are so many things that are lacking connection here, which makes no sense, and these things form a plot-holes, that could've otherwise be avoided. It's not too hard either, you just had to follow the source material - light novel or the manga that I personally took a small peek off. Since I knew if there is one thing I could count on, it would be the source material, and in some cases, manga doesn't fall that short either. So there was this one scene where Kufa, our main character, confessed to something slightly heavy, and the influence it made on me, I definitely felt it. It was real and felt truthful. While the anime took that same scene and made it feel so forced and uneventful. It's like the people behind this mess adapted everything as they would like it. No thought or consideration went into, the direction or the execution at all. Every arc felt random, and it was like I was watching, several episodes worth of content like I was meant to know the context behind it prior.

On top of that, all our character, the main for one Melida's development as well as power progress, was quick, and not efficient at all. She went from zero to a hundred way too fast, and we didn't have a chance to appreciate her growth properly. But the biggest issue is undoubtedly the terrible pacing. There were so many arcs, which would feel important and substantial to the overall story. Still, it was just cringe-inducing to watch, and I couldn't take it seriously one bit whatsoever. At least, there was still some few things that come out from this trainwreck of an adaptation. Because the art-style actually looked very clean for a short while and polished, it was so appealing to the eyes, I really liked the colour pallet they used here. Also, the animation had some decent sakuga in the beginning, the action bits were at the very least satisfactory to myself. Too bad, it didn't last all that long, as you could clearly see the downgrade in production over time. Until it looked like your where rubbing sands in your eyes, and it becomes an outright abomination of a derp fest, and started looking all stiff and iffy all over.

But if there is one part, I would give praise to AssPride it has to be the opening first off. It was something that I personally started out disliking, but it did grow on me tremendously, and now I love it. It's such a unique style which plays in all kinds of the way with the camera angles, and scenery. The song nicely complements it all and fits the overall song and visual properly. Opening prepares your soul and body for horrifying experience. While the ending is also quite beautiful and is a great way to heal your aching soul after a terrible episode of AssPride. It's too bad it's wasted on this absolute mess. Overall, I really don't recommend AssPride to anyone out there, and you can do so much better. Sure, there was some potential here, but the studio made sure to throw it in the trash before it even begins. You will not find your new next, generic fantasy here, only lots of horror and pain, which for me is finally over. I am so glad to be done with this trainwreck, and never again have to lose my common sense over it. It starts out with a decent start showing lots of promise. But each episode after that brings it closer to the abyss, until its thoroughly soaked in there, and it never tries to find its way back. Absolutely terrible, and a waste of time.

Story 6:
Not the story fault, to be honest. The characters do not have any space for development in this anime. In contrast, it is different for the manga. If you do not understand multiple aspects about these characters, you may find those pieces in the manga, and the LN. This anime is "incompetent" - just as the main heroine.
Art and Sound: 9
Well, this is overrated things. Art got nine because I am a lolicon and flatcon? The OP is excellent, can say it is the best OP of the season, in my opinion.
Character 6:
Motif, edgy sensei and the poor incompetent girl.
Overall 7:
I enjoyed it, ... even with the rush.

The plot is good and that's it.
Then we have a storyline that just goes to fast and doesn't show nothing interesting.
I don't know why every enemy character when he first appear have to be damn laughing it doesn't make sense.
Some character actions are just lame, like the director not stopping the event even if she was warned about the attack, and when it happened she did nothing, why?
And the main character being as submissive to his employer doesn't have much pride as the title suggests, but in the last episode at the last minute some characters were forced to say pride to match the anime ... with the title.

The pacing was too fast, alot of things were happening each episode that really needs an explanation, it's hard to follow and because of that you can't get invested with the characters or the story itself. BUT in the end even though it was dumb, cliche, and very much generic, this is the kind that does a 180 and makes you to just want to enjoy it. The art, animation was good, and the OP and ED song made me want to finish listening to it every episode.

This would be my last review of this decade. To be honest. this series isn't all that bad. But the studio literally killed the pacing. They literally skipped a whole fight. But to me, the plot is something really interesting. I'm looking forward to a continuation, but a second season currently looks impossible. About the art, I wasn't a fan about the character designs from the beginning, something just feels off. At least Kufa's design is really cool. The art also really fell midway through the series. It reels rushed, and overall the animation quality just drops off, not as bad as Azur Lane's tho. ... I don't really remember any memorable BGM about this series. The opening was a banger. That's really all I remember, the voice-acting was sub-par frankly. The characters seems interesting at first glance, an "incompetent talented girl" is something I've never really watched before. But as I said, the studio killed all the pacing this show has. I feel so much more could be expanded on the characters. I must say, I enjoyed it enough to watch it through till the end. But sometimes the animation really makes me wanna die.
