Synopsis

The Future Foundation is in shambles after the Final Killing Game and the revelation of the true culprit. As a desperate plot arises from one of the survivors to rid the world of despair once and for all, the remaining Future Foundation members must band together to stop this atrocity from taking place. Fortunately, they find themselves with help from a group of unlikely allies as they race against the clock to stop their world from being changed.

In this finale to the Hope's Peak storyline of the Danganronpa series, the players in this neverending death game begin to understand the true meaning behind despair, hope, and atonement.

Well, well, well, what do we have here? It's the Anime Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen - Kibou-hen, and let me tell you, it's quite the ride. I mean, I haven't seen this much drama since the time I spilled my tea on my lap while driving my dad car.

First off, let's talk about the story. It's like a rollercoaster, but instead of going up and down, it goes left and right, and sometimes even upside down. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and trust me, you won't want to get off.

Mixed Feelings
This was a single episode ending to two other shows (Despair Arc and Future Arc), so watch those first (and also, play Danganronpa 1 & 2 before watching those).

Story 5/10: About the same quality as Despair arc and Future arc, except they made one, in my opinion, major mistake. I'm not sure if the fault lies with this or the Future arc though, but since it only really "became" a flaw here I guess it's this one episode's fault.

Art 6/10: It's not great, it's not terrible.

Sound 6/10: Better than Despair and Future, since they had a lot less of the video games' music and more ...

This series was an emotional rollercoaster for me. As someone who enjoyed watching and playing the first and second game in the danganronpa series, I was quite to say, excited to start the third season of the anime. To go into the point, I was severely disappointed. So disappointed that I made an account solely with the purpose to publish this review to warn everyone who's considering taking up danganronpa 3.
