Netflix Japan revealed on Thursday a pair of additional cast, the first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video for the second part of the Gokushufudou (The Way of the Househusband) anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix on October 7.

Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama) and Subaru Kimura (Jujutsu Kaisen) are joining the cast as Bob, one of Tatsu's neighbors, and Gouda, an ex-gangster who became a rapper, respectively.

Chiaki Kon (Back Street Girls: Gokudolls) and Susumu Yamakawa (Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san) are returning from the first part at J.C.Staff as director and series composer.

Kousuke Oono began serializing the slice of life comedy manga in Kurage Bunch in February 2018. Shinchosha published the eighth volume on September 9.

I see they keep pretending that their poor animation is "manga style"

i mean like the other guy said i believe it was announced in japan as motion manga from the beginning

Is it? It seemed to me that they even had to defend this in an interview.

I think the "PowerPoint animation" is supposed be that way, just checked out Gokudolls it's the pretty much the same. (though Gokudolls has more "animation") BUT STILL WHY

Whoever casts the seiyuus is doing a great job. Too bad it's for Gokufushudou of all anime but oh well.

Also just another day of MAL thinking that their opinions matter to the anime industry even when they don't lmao.

I mean netflix said it themselves out loud that they don't care what people thinks, as long as average wage andyes pays that subscription.

The cast keeps getting better but is it worth to watch something that I know I will end up scoring 1/10. Also, for people defending this shit, 5 years ago, there were some people who were unironically defending Berserk 2016, so it's probably the same crowd.

Look, folks, the first season didn't try to do anything amazing. It wasn't even marketed as an anime, but a motion manga. There was definitely lots of charm there, and I can't wait to see Season 2 (but probably dub because of my man Jonah Scott).

really excited for this, I enjoyed the first part a lot despite the animation style they went for

150,000 completed
Less than 9,000 dropped.
I'm not gonna say you're wrong for disliking the "animation" but the exaggeration is very funny for how wrong you were when it came to "stats."
