Hello, I am here to offer an opinion regarding "problematic" content in fictional works. I think you're judging what you watch based off your opinion of the content in the show and whether or not you see it as "problematic"; so if something in a show personally disgusts you, it's automatically "bad". I can understand your reasoning for this, although I personally try to judge things differently. Is a show bad because of the content in it? Or is a show bad because of HOW the content affects the writing and overall quality of it? This is what I think should be considered. I don't think it's fair to say that Made In Abyss for example is bad because of the mildly disturbing content, but I do think it's fair to say that it's bad because of the way the content affects the writing and quality of the show, because it definitely does (from unnecessary fetish scenes to moments that really don't fit with the themes of the story, to missed opportunities for character drama etc.).

It probably wasn't necessary for me to drop my two cents here, but I'll drop them anyway. Also sorry if I came off as harsh in the forums ._.
