Thanks! Really appreciate it :) I hope and think that it will get a second season but also think you should definitely read the manga :D. I'd say reread some of the manga close to where the anime ended (maybe around chapter 30?) and then see if you feel like continuing or not ;)

Dropped Kanata no Astra early? Good decision. SO few people were criticizing it that early. The reason why the score jumped was because of a bunch of crazy twists and asspulls that made it exciting. Anyone who was paying attention saw the massive plotholes, each twist compounded the problems with the plot. Aside from that, there is never any sense of danger and all the characters are forever shit. The Hollywood style ending is so sappy and undeserved, but it's what people like!!

I put spoilers in my review too. Brief for all the episodes and their problems, just read those if you are interested in how bad it gets.
