| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The episode is alright. It pretty much started with the Sems battling the Mongauli army in which the Sems retreat. But it's awesome to see that Guin is leading the Sems against the Mongauli army. But what about Guin's throw...he almost kill Lady Amnelis there when he throw Marius's weapon towards her direction. |

| Those monkeys annoy me so much >_< And the Ido was meh... The equipment and barding of the horses looked nice, though. I think he didn't kill her on purpose to annoy her, so that she would command whole army to pursue Guin in to the trap. Amnelis wasn't very smart anyway to try to fight monkey skirmishers with heavy cavalry in some mountain pass. |

| I enjoy that Guin's playing it smart this battle with such limited numbers. The Ido was unexpected, but it sure made quick work of those troops. Also Guin shutting up that Princess and that fanboy sure felt great. |

It was kinda just one scene after another without any coordination nor transition in between and they could as well have suprimed the dialogues, wouldn't have made any difference... Hope that "war" or "battle" or whatever won't take much eps, cuz it's like ruining the show for me D: |

| Pretty good ep! A lot happened. But they do have to work on the scenes transitions. It wasnt so bad as in the river of death episode because of the battle going on, but still, it was pretty annoying. And what people have against the sems? I don't like monkeys, and yet, I don't find the Sems annoying or boring or anything... |

| I liked this episode...bad animation aside, for a few reasons...Istvan's ass, Astreas and the princess being humiliated, and actual tactics (besides the Ido which felt more like a necessity) used in battle. It was a little jerky in pace, but that is only because of the nature of the tactics and the director's choice to surprise the viewers along with the Monaguls. I also liked the way they did Guin's heart attack move. If it had been shown in that manner, I doubt I would have felt cheated the first time it was used. I am getting a little annoyed by Rinda's "As long as Guin, blah, blah, blah" stuff. And Remus wasn't annoying at all...though I think this episode might be confirmation that he's gay. But yeah, that animation was bad. |

| Astreas is annoying character even I’ve seen for a while because it’s pointless to see him to stare the princess few times that makes me to kill him. I loved how Guin gives princess some hard lesson. |

I dont think they will make the whole novel in an anime too so. Anyway they need to work on scene transitions i dont really mind it but it would be better if they did it right :P. This shows only saving grace is the story and the premise. |
