Lol, yea Im watching it right now as well.. simulcasted that is. Nothing extravagant yet, although the animation is alright I guess.

Wow! kuniko's actually cool and that boomerang of hers.. I also laughed hard at the part where momoko went up form behind the soldiers and kissed 1 of them as well.. Their reactions, priceless.

Crunchyroll POWER!!!

As it is, an okay show, not too bad, not too good, did like the fact that destiny really just came up at the end.

And that male girl is scary.

A bit strange, but I'm still interested. I like Kuniko's battle style, she reminds me a bit of a more acrobatic Hakuro.

Well, Momoko was fairly awesome. Holy shit at that whip. And holy shit at that boomerang. I dunno how I feel about this, one one hand the action was spiffy and still humorous, on the other I have no idea what the bloody hell is going on. Like seriouslly, about all I get is that carbon is being taxed for some ridiculous amount and some group is against it. The soundtrack didn't do much for me either, with the exceptions of the more lighthearted tracks playing behind Kuniko.

I'm not about to drop this just yet because it's still interesting to some extent, but what the hell just happened? Also, after hearing Atlas so many times I was waiting for someone to say "Would you kindly?". Alas, I doubt that'll happen.

I'd assume we aren't supposed to know yet and the series will greatly revolve around the 3 daggers.

They certainly seem to know how to get people coming back to find out what the hell just happened though. Was a pretty decent episode. Maybe a little slow at times, but i suppose it was needed to introduce the various factions and make you feel some attachment to the main characters and their town.

Kuniko's fighting style was indeed pretty cool. I'm curious to see that officer with the dagger fight now as he was the only one that wasn't instantly defeated and seemed to block her boomerang without much difficulty (although i couldn't help noticing his knife was significantly shorter looking than the other ones).

This one has some serious potential (GJ GONZO!). It was confusing at first when the viewer is barraged with this world that has several different factions, each completely distinct from one another. though I'm still confused on the hierarchy so far (its safe to assume that Metal-Age is at the bottom). definitely following this one.

I watched this on crunchy roll (shitty stream quality) but I still hope some decent group will sub it.

First things first, the OP is by Sheryl-chan (May'n). I didn't like her voice in Macross Frontier, I still don't like it here.

Production value seems pretty high and animation is good. Right now I find every character annoying, except maybe for the travesty. As for the plot and background, it's funny to see a Japanese anime going against its country's position (Kyoto protocol, etc...) on the whole global warming issue.

I'll probably continue to watch this as it seems to have some potential, imo. Besides, in how many shows do we get to see a girl destroy a tank with a boomerang?

Kick-butt transwomen in my anime ftw. (Although the "I love men!" thing was a bit unnecessary.)

Might as well watch it since I'm paying for it. First episode seemed alright, I'm kinda confused on all of this carbon-tax and everything but it's interesting to see an anime with environmentalist themes.

Edit: I also could've sworn that I saw an article about this show five years ago, I haven't heard of anything else that had people living in a world where overgrowth was covering all of the buildings.

The Major's knife was definitely damaged, though I didn't get a close look at it.

PeanutSteak: The overgrowth/nature reclamation theme is not too uncommon in post-disaster/apocalypse stories. I can think of about a half a dozen things off the top of my head like the anime movie "Origin - Spirits of the Past."

I would say this is a pretty weird anime... Isn't very appealing compared to the other spring animes, so I'll see what happens in the next few episodes before deciding to continue or drop

It was... interesting, to say the least. I don't really find it hard to understand the plot. It's just that the plot is so strange, I kept going "huh?'. But that in itself, could prove to be interesting.

Welcome to the jungle!

I thought Gonzo was dead. Anyway, this is sooooo not my cup of tea. The characters are annoying/disturbing, and the whole green topic frustrates me.

I'll do my best trying to drop this.

This somehow reminded me of Kiddy Grade, probably due to its Gonzo-ish feeling.
Anyway, will give it a few more eps till I form a strong opinion. There were some things that I enjoyed a lot and some things that I really didn't like.

Btw, anyone else laughed when the evil music started playing while the blond lady was taking a bath? xD

Also, Momoko = awesome beyond words.

The main reason why I'm checking this out is because this anime has Range Murata's character designs; I really liked them from Last Exile. But as far the anime itself goes, (besides the beautiful opening) I didn't feel a great overall impression from the first episode. I don't know, it didn't feel like the beginning, as if I jumped in the middle of the series. And I didn't feel excited over the characters that were introduced. Anyway I'll continue to watch this and see how it goes! Must give it a chance.

I'm liking it. I don't know why, but its giving me the same vibes Ergo Proxy gave me. And I love Ergo Proxy. It's probably the after the almost end of the world kind of thing.

I thought the mains weapon seemed to change size from time to time, but I liked the fact she realistically isnt completely pro with it.

I also like the girl with the bear. Smart nutty kids are always so fun.
