As to why I use the name Guet, well it's been one of my nicknames since highschool. It's a twist on my last name.
I've been an anime fan for years, since around the time that cartoon network first started showing anime on toonami, and my fandom has only grown from there. I have never been to a convention, but one of these days I plan on going.
Random stuff:
Other than anime, my other hobbies include shooting pool, video games (gamertag listed below), I used to play hockey, and I've started to dabble a bit in figures. Also, although to nowhere near the extent of some firearm-loving members of my family, I do enjoy putting a few rounds through my Springfield .45 from time to time.
I'm a much more outgoing person than I appear to be on the web. I am very sarcastic, with a sometimes darker sense of humor. My anime tastes vary greatly as you can see from my list. I recently got into manga, but I haven't read enough for my comparison to even show up yet. Berserk was the only manga I read up until six months or so ago.
I enjoy talking about anime, and will reply to most comments left, I also don't mind random friend requests, but as a warning, I usually don't start up conversations online myself.
Also, although I read a lot, spelling and grammer are a bit of a struggle for me, something I have to watch when typing.
Yeah, I've had my eye on the Beserk manga for a while, but I want to catch up on the other long series that I'm reading before going into another one. And I'm underage as well, so stores won't sell it to me because it's rated 18 . ^_^'
Ah I see, so I'm not the only one who was inspired to join up here because of that ^_^' I guess I'm happy then to be the one who inspired you to come here. :)
