-haven't been on MAL for quite a while now. I've almost lost complete interest in anime, only watching one or two episodes whenever I'm uber bored. However, I do sometimes read light novels and manga and I do attend the biggest anime convention in my country every year.

Extraordinary review on Haruhi, you covered all the aspects of that anime in great detail and with a passion of a true reviewer. I congratulate you on your writing skills. I've never watched Haruhi myself but I always suspected that with all the hype around it, it was probably a medicore series at best.
I will try to watch Haruhi and see for myself just how bad that series truly is. I'll then write an... erm, objective review of course.
I can understand that, I often take large breaks from MAL due to uni work. I have finished all the arcs :) The plot was amazing, as were the characters, I really loved it actually. I finished the rest of the arcs not long ago actually, once the English translation of episode 8 came out :)
