According to Oricon News, Canadian singer Avril Lavigne will sing the theme songs for One Piece Film Z, which will premier on December 15th in Japan. The titles of the songs are "How You Remind Me" and "Bad Reputation". She said, "I've felt sympathy for the world of One Piece in many aspects. I'm looking forward to seeing the completion of the movie." One Piece Film Z official website Her songs were chosen for the movie's world release in the future. The manga author Oda Eiichiro, who also was the general producer of the movie, was deeply impressed by "How You Remind Me" and sent a grateful letter to her. I like J-pop more, so im not sure it will go well. But if Oda-sama says the song is good its good. :) LoL so Avril is a One Piece fan, nice.  |

No disrespect for Lavigne and her fans, but to me, she's always been more pop than rock. I respect Nickelback, though. |

All I can say is that:This gives the movie some more international hype & probably grab some people's interest in One Piece. And don't forget to say that Oda is a fan of Avril's music (according to the article on ANN) JeddyVII said: Space Brothers - The best anime of 2012 & possibly the best slice-of-life anime I've seen.It may have some flaws (which doesn't affect my opinion),but I have yet to see anyone hate this series. |
