| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Practice with the new girl controlling the player, and Chihaya is doing well. Taichi has pressure. Recruiting the megane guy who is like Taichi with studying only, except Taichi has karuta as well, is hard because he thinks that karuta is waste of time. With covering the card, Taichi realizing his feeling strongly and won Chihaya. |

| Only 15 seconds of Arata :3 ok still like 10 seconds too much but you can't have everything (but maybe he is dead and they simply don't know about it?! :D ) Taichi was a nice character in this one plus this new one - he and that girl will be rather bland types (but she has that cute obsession with old clothes so it's fine) plus humor :D abduction of the desk was good one |
| A good episode, getting a new member was good, and that part, where they flipped the cards and relied on their memorisation skills was great imo communiist said: Awesome episode. | I liked the new addition more than I thought I would but he isn't the most thrilling character. I hope he doesn't become extra in later episodes. I don't want a bunch of filler characters wasting time. I'm curious who the final addition will be. I liked the flipping over the cards thing. It never occurred to me that you could play like that. It showed Taichi's skills and what Chihaya needs to work on. I Need more Arata! Where the hell is he?!!! It's not fair! I have to wait another week! :( |

| I noticed something interesting! the smart guy is left handed! He might be able to have some special skills for karuta!! :D I'm glad taichi found somethjng he's good at ;) can't wait for the introduction of the last member!! |

| Hey, kid... you can't just leave the desk there in the middle of the walkway... so irresponsible. :P It was funny when at the end of the first match this ep, Chihaya slammed to the floor asleep like that. XD And I almost jumped when that desk came crashing down at the end there. O_o Either Taichi is pretty strong, or that desk's super light, LOL. Loved this ep :D |

| Nothing wrong with Arata but we will not see him for a couple more episode, next episode they will invited some fat guy into Karuta Club. Later we don't know. Taichi obiously could beat Chihaya my memoried the card becuase he is more smarter than her. But she got an awesome hearing skills that's not normal person got. :D The Megane-Kun leave his desk I would like the music from there if it was a longer version of it. But he finally decide to join Karuta |

| I like this show a lot, but I'd like it so much more without Arata in it. I love these Taichi-focused episodes, then I remember how soon surely Chihaya will go back to thinking nothing but ARATA ARATA ARATA ARATA and it's a bummer. I feel so bad for the guy. :/ |

She isn't strange looking or ugly but she isn't amazing looking like Chihaya ether. Can't they do something like that with a guy too? This guy is a little on the pathetic side really and he does look like a bean. For example i can't imagine any of the girls watching the show actually feeling attraction for him while is not that hard to think a few guys liking the kimono girl. Anyway i think this game with the cards flipped over might have been a great thing for Chihaya. Her memorizing isn't her strong point and he just found a new way of training that will help her improve in that department and become better. It's good for Taichi too because it helps him to stop feeling completely useless since he thought not only that he couldn't win but that he couldn't even help Chihaya train. Is so damn frustrating. The guy will jump in-frond of a bus for her but she's all Arata, Arata even though his more like a stranger now and acted badly. Taichi has his faults though. As a kid because he loved her he acted aggressively at times and it normal for kids because they don't know how to handle love but why did he got a girlfriend now too? He should split with her(besides his fooling the poor girl around since he doesn't have any real interest in her) and go full force at getting Chihaya. |
