| According to the cover note of the eighth volume of the manga, a new TV series of Saki was announced. A spin-off manga "Saki Achika Hen: episode of side-A" drawn by Igarashi Aguri was also announced to be serialized in Monthly Shonen GanGan magazine from August 12th.
