| This thing is sooo good. Loved the episode. So it wasn't a one day thingy, Ryner spent years behind the bars and during that time, he just went through books and books and books, more like the entire library. it was good to see the jailer crying when Ryner was finally released, goes to show how people get fond of him, as Ryner always teased the jailer about his beautiful wife. even the child who was just an infant when Ryner started to serve his time grew up to love Ryner. Also, Ferris is so beautiful. OMG! she is just dazzling. Loved the fight between Ryner's magic and her brute(!) strength. Also, loved it when Ryner's jaw dropped seeing Sion on the throne. And Sion's joke about Kiefer to get Ryner's attention was great too! Not to mention Sion making fun of Bijin's Dango fondness, Ferris' moment was priceless. Waiting for the subs. My Jap 101 helped me understand very little. But it was a good episode and we are back into the current timeline, flashbacks are over. :) i am a Ryner fan now! i swear it wont hurt getting a smack or two from Ferris. i wonder though where Ryner is getting all those red round lumps on his head from time to time :P 5/5 |

I think he is more happy staying in the jail but Sion the sadist king wanna bring him out from the jail and put him in a journey to search for the relic .Next episode Froaude will be introduce. I almost cry when I hear about Ryner's report =( |

| LOL Ryner is very thoughtful of not escaping when he is escorted by the guard because Ryner knows the guard has family and Ryner don't want them to get involve . The spider is very cute also,and the spider really remind me of Ryner. Why the spider didn't go out to hunt for prey? Why the spider stay inside the jail where there is not prey for him to hunt? because the spider is a monster and the spider don't want to kill anymore and it wish to be alone......Even the spider doesn't wish to kill,but the web will still trap the prey within it and eventually die... =( I just realize there are only 2 Anime(other is Sekirei) in this season which doesn't has a review yet .....does that means this series is in the same popular level with Sekirei =( .... |

| Just give it a try, fans will find out sooner than later that this thing is awesome. I was in several channels yesterday and it seemed most of the people there didn't watch past episode 2, so they missed a huge chunk of quality right there. if you asked me, the first episode was sub par, the second was average too. The 3rd was brilliant and 4th was great too. fans (including me) were too dumb to think it will be like Chrome Shelled Regios. Anyways, I guess I will write a review after the 6th episode. thats two weeks away from now. |

| I agree that this show has made an amazing turnaround from the first episode. I have no idea where the story is going, but I like that. Next time, I hope they explain what the relics are, and how finding them would bring peace.... |

| So looks like Ryner is finally out of prison, and well on his journey to gather all the treasures. Btw, has anybody noticed that he looked a lot like how Hei looked in the second season of darker than black after he got out of prison? so I guess now we know how he got dubbed the sexual predator XD |

| Don't understand why Ferris kept calling Ryner a sex fiend... Poor Ryner! Almost 3 years in prison only to be released and end up traveling with an abusive control freak. Seems like he would have been better off in prison. He sure seemed happy there. |

| Well they spent a lot of time on him being in jail but it wasn't bad, and it eased the passage of time really well; heck it was two years. While the first half was rather dry, i was basically entranced, the second half had a few good jokes to bring me back to life as well as a pretty good action scene. By the end i was satisfied and asking why it was over already. I can 'sort' of understand why they aired the first episode the way they did. While it made the first episode poor it eased us into the flash back and made the next few look good too. |

| A solid episode. However, I think this show would have benefited if the first ep wasn't a look at the future/present, because the following episodes lost a lot of tension and mystery to them because we knew Ryner wouldn't die, Sion would become king, about the search for the legendary objects, etc. I really dislike when shows use that sort of plot device, it really waters-down everything. They should have made the second episode the first and made the events in this episode just slightly more spaced out because the pace is a tad rushed. Anyway. Lucile <33 He and his interactions with Sion make this show, IMO. And I wonder how the jailer's daughter knew Ryner. She wouldn't have seen him before because he hadn't come out into the light -- unless the jailer took her down to see him. Would he do that? :P I suppose she could have assumed who Ryner was, because I imagine her dad talked about him a lot, but she's only three soo. |

| Definitely getting better now. Ryner spending 2-3 years in there was pretty hard but he survived somehow just by doing research about afternoon naps and relics xD. Wonder if we'll get some more info about those. Ferris is less annoying here but I still don't like her dango obsession. Guess I'll have to live with that obsession now that they're travelling together. Haven't paid attention to the OP but there sure are a lot of characters there. Important or just enemies? Well, whatever, as of now Sugita Tomokazu Lucile is the most suspicious. The story is pretty interesting, hope this continues to be this good. |

| Another good episode. Normally, spending a large amount of time on someone stuck in a jail cell would be a boring affair, but Ryner's attitude, coupled with his conversations with the guard, made for a very entertaining first half. So, I guess the end pretty much relates back to the first episode, looking for relics and all that. As long as the rest of the series isn't entirely comprised of searching for the relics episode after episode, I'm probably going to like this. They might even throw in some political intrigue. Lucile's hardcore. One incorrect answer=death? Crazy. O_O! |

Even the novel didn't say when did Sion being crowned but in the Anime,It has showed it that Sion secretly visit Ryner in the Jail during the 2nd year .I don't know izzit the sound effect or maybe i am hearing things.Did you hear bombardment during the 3rd year in the winter??I think the Coup d'état is started at the third year. I just realize one thing.Ryner did not sleep as much as he like while in the jail!!! hmmm... |

| Well, i'm glad they back to eps 1 timeline, so eps 1 is not the ending episode. But i also have some disappointment, suddenly Sion became a king. Although we know that Lucile play an important role in here. I hope in the future they will give us some explanation about this. Also it would be nice if they can show us some of his subordinates past and how they met. |
