Thank you very much for the suggestion you gave in the thread about my reluctance to watch FMA:Brotherhood. I enjoyed reading your post the most. I think to watch FMA: Brotherhood as a completely new series without burdening myself about the fact that it is the second animation attempt is the most suitable way for me. I shouldn't miss this anime which comes closest to the original manga. I feel different now and thus am grateful.

Well the last arc in the anime of OP is going to be the "true" history and past of luffy and ace. I can't wait for that one, thats the one background character arc i been waiting forever to see, i haven't actually read it in the manga cause i didn't want to be spoiled. Finally will see the truth about luffy's origins.
In the manga 2 years have already went by and the straw hats look pretty different, let me tell you. How should i say this, they have really matured and became warriors. In the grand line there known as legends now. Especially usopp who used to be a scardy cat all the time, he looks like whitebeard damn near now. Has battle scars and everything. I was like 0_0 when i saw usopp. Zoro looks like a very mild confident man now and has the eyes of a real swordsman. Like mihawk used to be. Luffy is amazing now, hes matured alot and his expressions and personality are more like ace now.
Anyways the anime still has a bit to go, with the end of the marinford arc, followed by the luffy's background story arc, but after that, thats it. I have no idea if there going to continue animating the 2nd half of the story. I bet it will be a while just like they did with naruto.

Have you seen the FMP series. You should watch them, there really good. Second raid is by far my most favorite out of the 3. But the others are still great. They all have a mixture of comedy, background story development of the characters pasts and some good action. Once you watch the original full metal panic, followed by the comedy full metal panic fumofuu in that order. Second raid will be like a wake up call. It will devastate you on how the theme just dramatically changes into something very dark and cold hearted.
