| The animation was really different this episode. They did it more Birdy the Decode 02 style, which gave the action and stuff much more expressiveness, but at the same time, looked a little weird. I personally loved Birdy the Decode's animation, so this episode's style was a nice change in my opinion. The coloration on still shots looked slightly odd, but I thought it was a cool change. The actual episode had a lot of stuff going on, with Ryner's eventual choice of **spoilers** abandoning Ferris for Tiia ** end spoilers** quite upsetting. I mean, seriously, you just saw Tiia rip apart some guy to shreds, and Ryner choose to side with him? Sion won the battle, but at a great cost. I feel bad for both Sion and Ferris, especially after Ryner's decision. Seeing Ferris in new costume is pretty awesome though. Much better than her previous clothes. Random Screenshotsss :P |

I don't really think Sion betrayed him, it's just more that Sion performed his obligations as a good king, which came in conflict with Ryner's Alpha Stigma worries. Either ways, I think Ferris and Sion felt just as betrayed by Ryner's leave. |

I'm not sure how well this anime has been faring in Japan, but I hope the ratings are high enough for a new season. | Actually they upped the animation quality in this episode. The action scenes were very well animated and were very fluid. Especially the army scene, but it resulted in the creators compromising with the drawings in the non-action scenes making people think that animation got worse |

| The action inside the house was so dark that i could not make anything out. Seriously? That ruined an otherwise godly episode. I know the odd ball treatment isn't anything especially new, but i absolutely loved the emotion, and tension in the second half. I am not sure i would of guessed the outcome if i had not been told, but I made a lot of sense. (Excellent 9 - damn animaton =( ) |
| Some of the action scenes and animation kinda worked for this episode. Not certain since I DID know teh degradation of the quality. Ryner betrays Sion to help him with his duties of kings, but to do so, he has to betray Ferris. Ouch, but not to worry, it'll get better soon! 9/10 (QUESTION: So is Tiir Rumiblue part of Ryner's side and going against Sion?) |

| Amazing episode. Tiia is such a badass, I think he is the best character in the anime. Anyway, I did not liked Sion's attitude towards Ryner, I wonder what is he going to do next. |

| The change in animation style actually gives more feel to the story and removes some of the genericness.... This was a very good episode in the character development section. |

| Ahhh it was moving to see Ryner tell Sion that he "knows" about the letter/order... Sion AND Ryner looked great ^^*;; love Ferris' new costume. I think this episode was solid in terms of plots... can't wait until next week! |

| Hmm, I'd say this was the best episode since episode 3. There were some interesting developments, like Ryner and Tiia joining up, and, from what I could tell(lousy Funimation stream...), the animation style used here was very unique. I especially liked the scene where Tiia ate that one soldier guy. Disgusting, yeah, but nicely animated. =) |
| Didn't like the animation changes, thought it looked horrible and in parts was ridiculously dark. Also it had Iris in it speaking so yeah. Other than that good solid episode. I kind of wanted to see Tiia got up against Sion and his army more but what we got was still great. Looking forward to the next episode, the less Ryner and Ferris are together the better the series seems to get. |
| That was some pretty awesome animation but an unusual art style. The action sequences were amazingly done, fluid and complex. But they could have worked on getting the geometry of the characters right. Poor Ferris, she looked really hurt at the end of the conflict. D: |

I thought that last week's episode was great but this one was even better. We begin to see Ferris develop more emotions thanks to Ryner. I'm guessing we won't be seeing any Ryner/Ferris anytime soon. |

| Holllllllllly shit, Tiir is so awesome. But what the fuck happened to the rest of this episode? It was awful. Ryner being emo, Ferris being OOC. Tiir could have just killed everyone and taken Ryner away... letting them live doesn't sound like him, either. What a clusterfuck. So Ryner just goes with Tiir. Doesn't ask him where they're headed to, who Tiir is, who his "friends" are. Doesn't second-guess his decision to hang out with someone who chooses to kill and enjoys it (as opposed to Ryner having no control when he goes berserk). Sure. Because any sane person would do that. I can understand if Ryner had said something like "I'll go with you if you let everyone live", but that isn't even what happened here. Shitty writing is shitty. This ep needs moar Miran. :[ |
