| This anime is mainly for my comedy relief! It's got action, comedy, Ecchi-ness and bright colors, lolz. So far so good, it's my 4th favorite this season...so far. |

| ohh I like this so far C: Ecchi bits felt kinda out of place but at least it's not excessive. I like Akuto and that blue haired girl (forgot her name) so far C: lol the red haired chick is pretty entertaining too XD haha it gave me Harry Potter vibes with the magic academy, the long black robes...and the bird divining their future reminded me of the sorting hat XD Hmm a demon lord. I strangely loved this first episode! The character designs were definitely the kind of thing that appealed to me. Plus I think the ecchi elements were done just right. And despite most of the students and faculty so far seeming like a bunch of morons and freaks it just made me side with Akuto that much more easily. Plus Junko, she is ..nice! Tsundere to the max. I haven't seen a tsundere as violent and unstable as her since Taiga... I hope this doesn't disappoint. I HATE harems! So we'll see if this can keep me along for the whole ride. But this was a fun first episode!  |

| Most interesting thing about this episode to me was how the whole world they're in, at first glance, seems to be an alternate reality where the Byzantine Empire never fell. I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread yet, but they are are clearly in Istanbul, or more likely (due to the Constan Academy), Constantinople. Hagia Sophia is portrayed prominently. They even got the Byzantine Papal Tiara right, albeit while also carrying a shakujō. |

| An anime version of Harry Potter, with his own harem and a cooler train to reach "Hogwart" with. That's my first impression of the series, which later somewhat changed, as Akuto interacts with the other girls. This one is mainly focused on how he adapts to the discovery of his future role as a demon king and how his relationship with Junko progresses. It starts off nice, only to later turn into a not so typical tsundere-guy relationship, where he actually doesn't obey and fear her all the time, but tries to talk it through with her. A definite upside to the series seems to be exactly that, he'll find himself in this harem. Other than that, though, Akuto seems to be the standard, dull teenager with a harem and not much we'll remember him for after the series finishes. I use to call them tools that are there just for the harem to function, but I do believe he should show more personality and development. The ecchi's there too and, in my opinion, it would be much more enjoyable in smaller dosages of panty and boob shots than we get in the episode. Besides, rope thongs? Man. All that I pointed out, and the sloppy animation and mediocre art, make my reception of the anime mixed. Wondering if it'll be any better with the coming episodes. 6/10 |

But the characters and the concept is interesting and it seems promising for me, so I'll stick with it at least to find out is this even worth watching~~ |

| I came across the manga adaptation so I thought I'd give the series a try. For a moment I wondered if the anime was simply a bad adaptation, but now that I've read the first four volumes of the LN, it looks like it actually is much truer to the original source. If you're looking to watch this make sure you get the uncensored version, as it is pretty ecchi at times (and that is one of its attractions). |

| I'm restarting this after dropping it back when it was airing. I don't remember much of anything from when I watched other than noting it was a reverse Harry Potter or something. I really hope the misunderstandings don't continue. I get so annoyed by a show full of misunderstandings. Please tell me it's only episode one or blue hair who makes the misunderstandings more prominent. |

Sai is a cool character but he was also like me pretty surprised about that he will become a demon king, especially when he talked before about to become a priest :D Junko is the tsundere but I also like her. The red haired girl is a little bit weird I would say. I think Sai doesn't know anything about his giant power. Alone with that there is a good chance he's a demon king. I liked the music of the OP and ofc everything with magic is absolutely my thing! I think this will be fun to watch. Looking forward for the next episodes :) |
