ahh crap, i don't exactly remember the settings i used for the 4th video cause i deleted it apparently. But i did upload another one and this time, this one is a final product. It is all matched correctly, entirely different commentary and a bit more game footage.

So check it out when you get the chance and let me know how this one compares to the 4th video you saw, i tried to make it to where the cut scenes you can actually hear some what, but not to loud and im not sure audio volume setting i had set for my voice in my 4th video, but this one i have it set to +3 DB. So its a little louder then what normal speakers handle at 0.0. I set the gameplay audio to -5.0 db. I also got rid of the static completely, very easy to do.

here it is, if you happen to not see it yet, its cause currently still uploading will finshed in about 200 min.

Maybe my sound card on my laptop is just terrible quality lol.

But then again when i watch that other guys video's i can hear it fine and smooth and perfect on my laptop.

Anyways the point in which i increased my gameplay audio during the cutscenes, i figured out what was causing that. I had my capture set to +4DB, that is a bit to much i think, so i lowered it to -11 DB then i captured my gameplay using the -11db. When i took the video track and placed it with my audio track now it does not blow your ears out when you listen to it from your headset, in other words i think its more balanced. But i am currently uploading that video now, its going to take another 100 min or so before its done.

I replied back to you as well, check out the test video.

For me watching this video on my laptop or any speakers coming out of my tv i can't even hear the gameplay audio, very very low, but when i use a turtle beach headset, i can hear it pretty good. So i guess it matters what output your using i guess. On my laptop when the gameplay audio kicks in around 3.0, its fine hearing it from output speakers on my tv or my laptop, but then on my head set its loud as all hell.

Ugh, its confusing. But generally i guess when anylizing video and audio quality, its best to use a head set i guess cause thats what most people do when watching youtube vids, but then again if some one uses a laptop, its almost like its on mute, do you see what im saying? That is why i had to turn up the volume to 8.7 to actually hear it through my laptop.

The tracks that you saw me play back in my video were actually already normalized.

If you do not normalize your audio though, it sounds very very low, you almost can't even hear it. So what your saying specifically is it keep in its raw form when i record it in audicity, export it and then change the audio levels accordingly in sony vegas.

So what bout using the Blue line feature in sony vegas, i guess that would be normalizing as well then right? you will have to forgive me as i am still kind of new to this and figuring everything out.

But i use that blue line and drag that down to -11.2 db for the video game audio which is captured at the rate 4 DB using my capture. I basically capture the video game audio pretty loud, and then change it in sony vegas using the normalize feature, for the audio track, i do not touch the normalize or blue line, i do not exactly know what its called. But i keep that at 0.0 IN sony vegas. Then adjust the audio volume to like way up their 8.7 so people can hear me.

Before i render out.

This is the process, i created a very small video to show you what i mean, this is with out audio though.
