| An ok start, doesn’t seem like anything special from what I’ve seen so far. It really looks like Bones is trying to replicate their success with Bungo Stray Dogs with this series. I was pretty lukewarm on that series, so hopefully this is better. |
| tis a fine start couldn't really tell how serious this was gonna be at least for now it doesn't look like things will get too dark but there is a setup with the ending scene. 2 mains seem dorky got some serious BL shipping vibes between them i have no doubt there will be some kind of fandom for paring them lol also was worried if anything happened to Amelia Watson there would be a world of pain , funny it's sakura's VA and she ended up getting corrupt just when i thought she was safe will watch since this stood out out of this kinda eh looking season but it looks like the gears might take a bit for the plot to get going |

| Yeah, you can definitely feel the Shaft influence Tomoyuki Itamura is pouring over here, but I'm all cool for it lmao. Anyway, pretty solid first episode. And no, for the trillionth goddamn time guys, two dudes having a banter doesn't make it BL, jesus christ. |

| Gotta be honest, I'm just giving this anime a chance because of Kajiura's music but after having watched this first episode, I also gotta say I found it quite enjoyable. I like both Vanitas and Noé's characters (already in love with their designs) and the production values were quite nice as well. Promising start overall. |
| HOLY CRAP. This show has already blown my socks off and made me thing how incredible this season has been. Vanitas and noe are already incredible characters, and they also do some very comedic moments. the action scenes OMG THEY ARE JUST amazing. the op's is my favorite from the season so far, too bad it has a sep 8th release date ;-; |

| Pretty good intro Bones really went all out this. Soundtrack especially stands out. Like the characters but they vandalized one of my favourite feats of Gothic engineering so that's a mark against them lol. The world is kinda interesting in that I guess it's late 19th century France with some Steampunk elements considering how insane the airships are with some I guess alternate fuel source to power them? Vampires I guess also are something that isn't just myth too. Regardless interested to see how this is all going to progress I feel like this is going to be one of the better shows this year. Also yeah guys bi shonen being playful doesn't make something shonen ai and yaoi. Yeah it's going to be appealing for fujos but if you actually think they hurt the popularity of shows you are delusional. If anything it can bring attention to lesser known content. |

| With BONES doing the animation, Kajiura Yuki doing the music and story from Mochizuki Jun, this anime has a huge potential to blow up. This episode was amazing for a first episode. Hope the upcoming episodes will be as good or better. |

| Not bad. Bones visuals are fantastic as expected and the character designs are brilliant. One thing that I'm not too sold on is the comedy which is a shame but oh well. |

THe reveals are actaully to many and one discoverey leads to another mystery. Welp. My interest was good, up until the end. They literally just foreshadowed the ending and made this entire series pointless to watch. So Vanitas will die meaning whatever suspense those two have will be brushed off till the end of the series. Such a shame. 0/10 So about your statement, I dont think the writer revealed that out of the blue and there is a pretty solid reason(Just like in pandora hearts when the sin was raised) Plus the anime hasnt even revealed the world building, the mechanics, vanitas mulitple phases and the power system and i can assure u you cannot predict this story except for 1 or 2 things and you cant judge it with a 1st episode that has barely even touched the surface.And jun series are always unique considering the way she setups everything. |

| Just from the first episode alone I can tell it'll gain some popularity from the community.The premise is a little generic where the evil are actually portrayed as good.Gives me seven deadly sins vibes if you ask me.Not to mention,the sakuga was everywhere in this episode. shane_nichols said: Welp. | Excellent episode 1. Lots of great shots throughout the episode. I already really like both Noé and Vanitas as characters. The OST and OP and ED all sound great. I'm excited for more. |

| I loved it. Loved the art & fluid animation. The OST was pretty immersive too. The end where Noe said he would end up killing him, omg, I can’t wait. I can tell this is going to be good. I hope!!!!! Noe’s so cute & Vanitas is definitely an interesting character, there’s more than meets the eye with him. The OP was so good too! So glad that Kaito is at least a MC in one seasonal again yay. I’m in!!!!!! |

| That was a really good start! Definitely the most interesting show so far, even though only a few has released, I can tell this is gonna be one of my favorites this season. I'll most definitely read the manga after the season or maybe even midway through it. So, our Vanitas is the successor to the original Vanitas. Except unlike the original he wants to save the vampires instead of corrupting their names. Wonder how he even inherited the book and name if they have opposing goals. Noe is also pretty cool. The OP, ED and the soundtrack are bangers, and of course the quality of the show is great. Really looking forward to what more the show has in store for us. |

| First impression is 10/10. Didn't expect so many funny and goofy moments, but for some reason it didn't ruin the experience for me. Interesting how they spoil the ending in first episode lol. |
