PLEASE PLAY the original DS game instead, it has ports on iOS/Android and Switch... hell even a Let's Play is better than the anime. there is legitimately not a single character from the original game that i even remotely dislike, TWEWY is my favorite DS game of all time.

The first season is indeed really nice, but the second season definitely does help make Princess Tutu stand out from other magical girl series and is understandably well received. I think you will enjoy it all the way to end if you're liking it so far :)
