| Kinda slow paced, not much was explained and little character development. But it was quite interesting and I liked it. | It was pretty good! Although, why did Cenco eat Testu's arm? So he wouldn't die? Bummer. And Yuki should really give Testu back control of Cenco, now, it's gotta be difficult using Cenco as an arm when you can't even change it how you want. |

| Where was the awesome music that the trailer had? The actual episode was devoid of BGM. Yeah, I'm only calling it an episode. If that was the first episode of a series, I'd be pretty damn excited about the rest of the thing. As a stand alone it just doesn't work though. Would work fantastically as a 12 episode or even 6 episode series. |

| it was good. but too short. incredibly short for a person who've been waiting for this shit even before it was airing in Japan -__- seriously, people, I've been expecting not only some great artwork and animation, but also some plot. I couldn't find it anywhere... unfortunately... it sure looks like the first episode of some series. and photoshopped from real photos backgrounds wasn't all that good. meh... I'm disappointed. 7/10 only for those creatures. |

| The art and animation were good, I have no problem with that. But, the movies short length at only 30 minutes, which left no room for plot or character development, left me cold. I don't know why anyone would compare this to FLCL, that show actually had a meaning to it, this was just a bunch of random bullshit. 4/10 |

| Huh what? -no real story -things don't hold to the logic of the world: Cenco just suddenly switched masters for no reason? the other guy couldn't do that? Cenco talked up to be super strong, defeats the other monster even while watching out for annoying girl and yet in the end just admits defeat? -Non likable characters: an annoying girl who does her best to get in the way at every turn and a lifeless mysterious boy (well two of these, but one of them seems to be more evil). This could have potential if the basics were part of a full length movie, but this 30 minute video leads to nothing and doesn't get me excited or hoping for any sort of followup. It definitely feels like they had some footage from a movie and just did some minor editing to turn it in to a random video. |

I only scored it a 6 because of the story and characters being so underdeveloped, but it got big plus points for being the work of one guy and for being creative at least. And hat's off to Archaeon for writing that review. I might not agree with his score, but his review definitely helped me understand the show a bit more (and that bit about Dali was genius). If it hadn't been for that review I would have scored this a 3 or 4. |
| Absolutely liked it. From Tetsu's character to Yuki, Kei and Shuu (Him I found a little arrogant). The monsters were interesting (stealth/transforming in to things). I would like to know where they come from exactly...space? Another planet or galaxy? The control of these monsters is telepathic with the hair. Is that right? Surprised that they can take human body parts to make it their own. In any case found Yuki to be adorable and felt bad she had to be used to be bait for Shuu to attract Tetsu into a fight. Found also the inside of Cenco strange but would like to have one. Liked this and would want to see more of this type. aero said: Pretty awesome action but why so short? | Well considering I was waiting a good two years to finally see this, I was a little disappointed at the length. Still enjoyed it though, the end makes me think there could be some sort of continuation, which would be nice ... but we'll see what becomes of that I suppose. |

| Uh oh. I think I expected something... deeper. It is disappointing that this is nothing but nice animation, lack of music and strange plot. Not even close to the Shinkai Makoto and Yoshiura Yasuhiro works. Although it is awesome for one man. 7/10 So, there is going to be a full-length movie, right? Maybe it'll be better. |

| ...What the hell? This seemed quite promising, it's sad to find out that it was as random, bad, and ridicolous as FLCL (maybe even worse). The art is pretty bad, the monsters are incredibly ugly, the characters are lifeless, uninteresting, and idiotic, the plot is non-existent, the ending song is stupid and slutty, the whole thing is boring as hell (even the voice actors sound like they just woke up). I'd like to know how could something like this win an award, and also why is it considered a movie, lasting only 26 minutes. I lol'd at the giant yellow pudding, anyway, this sucked. |

| Considering that what we've got here is a roughly 25min movie, made by à single person, this was awesome : D I can't believe I've waited this long to watch it : o And for all the goodness that is iPod Touch, it's clearly not made to write comments with, so I'll end this here ^^; Anyway, great movie, let's bump the thread so more people find out about it : D |

| I think this one is better left to those with imagination. No, it's not FLCL. It might have a vaguely similar feel in some regards, but where that series is rife with Freudian symbolism, Japanese social commentary, coming-of-age via Looney Tunes kinetics, etc., Cencoroll is simply a bit of a mystery — the empty-headed will whine about this, while others will find it enticing. It's kind of like a minimalistic and bizarre Pokémon/Evangelion hybrid, or something... and yes, I think it hints at the kind of weirdness found in Alien Nine. I'm totally intrigued, and I want more. |

| While in retrospect the movie was a bit disappointing after rewatching the 2007 trailer, this concept would make a fantastic series. I think I'm more pumped about what could be done with the basic concepts in the future than about what was actually in the movie. Definitely got that Narutaru/Alien 9 feel, oddly horrific and cool monster design + kids who might be too immature to handle that much power. Wishful thinking to get something like what a continued Narutaru anime might have been ;___;? |
