| I liked this anime it was nice and the animation was good. Didn't care much for the ending theme though but I did like the opening. There was alot of things that would have made it better but then again there was many things that could have also made it worse to so as of now I stay with it was quite good. |

| Boring lead character. Nyanko sensei is awesome despite the lazy animation and Reiko looks awesome. This will probably be one of those series where i could care less about the main lead. |

| I have to say, this does remind me of both Mushishi and xxxHolic. I'm not sure what to think of Natsume yet, though it had to be pretty sad for him growing up. Reiko seems... interesting. o_o LOL. And was definitely surprised by the cat's voice. Didn't expect a little old man voice for the chubby cat. |

| Watched this on a whim, and holy hell...did not expect to cry in the first episode. Felt so sorry for the one-eyed woman waiting for Reiko to call her name. :( |
| Started to watch this through Crunchyroll, because it had good reviews about it. The first episode was interesting, although the animation quality wasn't that great. It's a 4 year old series anyway, hopefully the recent season is much better and comparable with "Hotarubi no Mori e" I find the show a bit playfull, Natsume's grandmother sets the best example with her teases with the Youkai. Which was funny to see as well. |

| Quite an interesting start, while the episode feels like it develops slow the time actually isn't as slow as you might think! A very interesting pacing and well the concept sure seems interesting so let's see what happens next! |

| I liked the episode despite its slow pace. I feel bad for Natsume because his power has brought him bad memories. I bet his relatives are like "Oh look at this Natsume kid just like his grandmother." As fir Hishigaki, pretty sad that Reiko never called her. She looked forward to meeting her again, and with Reiko's smile who wouldn't look forward to meeting her again. Well at least Hishigaki got her name back. |

| The atmosphere is relaxing, the story is just well paced it just feels slow. Hope to see some eastern myths and superstition while having a good content in each episode and Madaras wittiness is cute though I hate cats (oh he was a dawg). |

| A very relaxing atmosphere with a fascinating story, this first episode has reeled me in already. It's rare to watch a first episode that feels so naturally well paced and I like where this is heading. Reiko is pretty and seems cool already. |
