| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Everything is in this episode. OP also is good. Nike makes shoes for the robots. Sad past of Dan's sister, stupid machine. Sad past of Miyuki with her parents. Action good and really keep liking series. I want to put two pics one is to confirm official ecchi stuff in this series. The other is to see what people think about it. What do people think of this? Breast over limit?  Series officially ecchi with Miyuki ass,tits and pantsu. Miranda bath scene around this part also.  Notice: someone think about a change to ecchi as add maybe? |

| I found the OP to be pretty good. The beat was catchy and it really fits well with the overall feel of the show, imo. As for the episode, I loved it and hated it at the same time. Seems like the story will stay simple at heart (which I really hope it does so). I feel that this show really starts to shine when they start playing basketball. Sela kind of irked me with her haughty attitude at the end but I guess she's just trying to rile up Dan to get him serious. Definitely favor Miyuki over Sela at the moment, but both girls have potential to be intriguing characters. |
| well i liked the epi but i think this anime is ust about to shine, the opennning was ok ( i expected something more lively tou) and we see that our dan has a goal he must achive ( despite the fact that he owes more money than hayate`s bill) and in the year that passes down after his confinment every one start playing basket on big foots and ofcourse he loses cause he almost got no experience in those things.... this story is going to be great im looking forward to it |

| The opening was pretty good, but I thought that the OP song would be the same music from the trailer. As for the episode itself, it was very good. I'm really enjoying this show. |
| disappointing episode. OP wasn't that good, song is too jpop for this kind of stuff, some r'n'b would be better. storytelling is extremely fast as for now, by the end they've almost lost it. and appearance of a perfect rival is inevitable. |

You right one episode like that no but maybe if more episodes like that then yes? |
| It's not its overall theme though - is it? It's not a To-Love-Ru where you have naked ladies flying at you from left, right and center. I just checked out your list, and it appears you've not seen the first few episodes of Lagann, so for the benefit of the doubt I'll presume you haven't seen them. I don't think I could count on my fingers the amount of times Yoko's breasts/bottom were thrown over Simon's head, or made the main focus of the shot for a couple of seconds. That happened throughout the series, and yet I still wouldn't classify Lagann as ecchi. I agree with you that most anime has elements of ecchi, this Basquash does not escape from, but I certainly wouldn't classify it as ecchi as you want to do so. It has a plot, and that plot does not revolve around women's breasts, so thus, it isn't classified on the main page as the ecchi genre. |

| Not a bad episode. It really is just so good looking that I can't help but watch it, so even though the story is ridiculously cliche, I doubt anything will be bad enough for me to drop it. |
| I love the ending song as well, it's just so catchy lol. Anyway, this anime kinda reminds me of Air Gear and Gurren Laggan at the same time lol. The art-style is freaking incredible, espacially Dan. He's drawn pretty well and that makes me watch and care about him that much more, but when his sister got smashed by that big foot I couldn't help but think, "Where's there money from that accident?" lol. They should have gotten paid for someone's carelessness but than maybe I'm thinking to much. Anyway, great show I love it. |

| I guess it was inevitable that the series would come back down to earth a little bit after that out-of-this-world first episode, but it's not like we can't expect to have more fun in the future. A little backstory and exposition isn't so bad, and the sheer originality of the basic concept is going to make up for anything unoriginal in the plotline, etc. I think it's a good bet that this ends up being the best show of the season. I'll be waiting for the next episode to really impress me again. |

| Wow, I was particularly more entertained by this episode than the last one. Not that it's a bad start, starts have to be different from the rest of a series, and are entertaining in a different way. |

| This show is so much better than it has any right to be. I'm actually more impressed with this episode than the first solely because it showed that it can still be entertaining without going a hundred miles an hour. |
| I don't want to comment too much on the story part yet since the show just started. Not to mention, it will run for 26 episodes. You can say that there are plenty of room for the story to develop. Nevertheless, the animation is still nice looking like on episode one. |
